PS3 goes for sale online

At a whooping 550 Euros! on play.com! and release date has been pushed till November.

The model for sale on play.com is the 60Gb model.

When Sony announced prices earlier this year it said that gamers would pay about £425 ($785) in the UK for the top end version of the machine.

play.com is also offering three games in its package. Driving simulator Formula One 06, flying game Warhawk and the karaoke-themed Singstar.

The website says the games shipped with the console may change due to availability.

Gamers will have to wait until later in the year to buy a console in the shops.

Japanese gamers will be the first to get their hands on the PS3 on 11 November while the console will arrive in the US and Europe on 17 November.

no yeah useless you have a point, but its not about that, its about being able to rename your intro files to stop it from loading, or being able to make lara croft go naked, its also about more than triangle circle squre and um cross imho :p

Umm.... then why is there a PS "3".
Cant stop change... may as well make it easy by doing component upgrade instead of "Heres my kidney" upgrades.

well.... the PS2 was released in 2000... PS3 is to be released in late 2006... through how MANY PC upgrades did you go in that time? :rolleyes:

I think you will start to see an acceleration in the rate they pump these things out now. Previously there was no REAL compitition. Now there is...

I think it's a fact that Sony Computer Entertainment software has far outsold Halo, because Halo was the one and only title to come out there. So, do we have a title? I don't know.
