You have probably already tried this, but I had to disable firewall and the whole AVG programme, then it worked.

I have patched my game as well and will see when I can make a turn in middle-earth.

LOTRO is not as robust as other MMOs - I have noticed that if I use Axxess as ISP i would get strange log-in errors.

maybe you need to go a bit further back and use printf << instead. Otherwise if you changed it to echo "Hello World" then it would be better :p

Been there and done that. Mine stuck a whole evening on one of the patches. I had to cancel it and then start from further back the next day and it worked. Fiddling makes me a sad panda.

There be lots of us with the latest version - all patched up and close at hand. We can get it too you chop chop.

I really enjoyed the Moria story the other night, and how they introduce the legendary weapons etc.

I'm really slow at levelling, but I like to think its cause I'm enjoying the story and the different area's and want to experience all of the game. Sometimes I feel you level too quickly and miss a lot, but that would make the game far too frustrating for a lot of people.

Right so, even though I'm very busy setting exams and missing all kinds of deadlines, I have made the time *ahem* been-procrastinating-and-causing-great-stress-for-myself *ahem* to add some new members to our kin. Try and be friendly and not scare them off as one of them has a lvl 65 Rune keeper (Islanderth). This is very important to our master plan of getting a 12 man raid together *cue evil laugh* nyak-nyak-nyak.

The new oke is a friend of JAWS_Firefox a long standing geek whom I have had the pleasure of meeting in RL. I have finally gotten through to them that they must join our insane madness on TS3 - the wrgfr channel. So keep an eye out for them there.

I hope you will all be friendly and play nice nice with them until I get back to smacking you and all of middle earth around.
