Travian T4 Server

Howdy all, not sure if any of you remember this classic build train and conquer game. I know i had a blast last time we all played together.

They have just started a new server on a new version T4 it is an awesome update to the game and changes things nicely, more balanced and and now with a quest system and a new hero feature. Much more too but as i only started today is all i know for now.

Would love to have some geeks join me I'm playing is the South West Quad as a Teuton.

I was never bothered to play it, but its for the best I didnt. Addictive personality seems to be my middle name. Plus I heard it was browser based which would mean it interferes with my work, that would be a bad thing.

When you are setting your alarm for 2.56am to thwart an invasion....
When you are hiding in the toilets at work so you can manage an attack......
When your wife wants a divorce because of a browser game.....
When your credit card is being abused so you can buy gold....

Nay, nothing good comes from this game.

Hehe I started a village last night out of curiosity.

Its very interesting the more things you can trade now and you get a customisable hero.... but yeah found myself managing resource building for over 2 hrs and realised not much of its changed. Still extremely time consuming so the account deletion is already running.

Sorry saint, but I made this mistake with two rounds of Travian and one of Moonbase. I have to learn from my mistakes that addiction is bad, and my wife wanting to wring my neck for getting up in the middle of the night to play even worse. All the things Askari listed I also experienced firsthand, including the massive GPRS bills for playing under the table. It is cheaper to play two paid MMO's in parallel than it is to play something like Travian.

Quick update: not finding it half as bad as you all said. I am now rank 2 on the server and have recently adder a sitter to my account to mange raiding during the day, what with 600 mace men and 250 horsemen it can get a bit much :D
