SO yeah, any of you guys got Tattos ?

dont ask, i am thinking of getting one, a small one some where hidable, like ankle, hip, ect.

i have some ideas, and at the moment i need to find somthing that i really think is cool and says alot about me as a person at this point in my life. :p

somthing small somthing me ...

so bassed on what you have seen of some of me online, would you guys have any suggestions..

I've had loooong words with a bloke who hads about 14 tatoos and I managed to get it out of him that his first tatoo was so carp that he had another just to feel better and then another cos that one did not turn out great and then another to ryt to better the others and ...

He did say that they're an AWESOME conversation starter, but ... you could just pierce your nipples [repairable] for the same effect.

I would go for somewhere that you can cover up if need be..bicep etc.

The problem is to choose a place that when you bod starts to lose it's shape i.e. when your narrow waist and broad mind change places, your tatoo doesn't start to droop as well.

Allu how does "I get bored fast" and "I want a tatoo" come outa the same mouth? Get some henna first or something that comes off after a while to see if you really want it. Maybe a sticker? LOL. I'm partial to a full shirt with sleeves like Scofield. LOL.

hahah firstly the gf thing , simple get a tatto that reads "your name" then you can be like i have your name tattoed on my arm...

the ankle idea is cause it doesnt loose shap wrinkle ect, and a sock hides it, and any place you wearing slops im sure a tat is not an issue...


and while i do get bored of things, some things i dont get bored of at all, and i wouldnt mind a tatto reflecting who i am at this point in my life :p

Well personally I'm not really into the whole tatoo idea...always thought one might be nice on my ankle or middle lower back..like just above your hipster jeans....but will never... so I think it's something you must really think long and hard about...like everyone has said it is forever...I guess its not the worst thing u could do to yourself....For me a tiny little butterfly or bee would be nice...but since u r a boy....uuummm...I think not.... U might get teased! :p .... What about a scorpion(on your ankle!!)...I like thingz with a sting to them!! Warns people of my personality.... :D

This one guy, he's got a girl called Wendy, and he loves her so much that he has her name tattooed on his most private part. But in normal condition you can only see the letters WY. Now that one day in the men's room, he sees this other guy, takes a discrete look and asks "Oh, your girlfriend's name is also Wendy?" The other guy answers 'Nah. When it gets serious, it says 'Welcome to Mississippi and have a nice day'".

That being said, I had a phase when I wanted to get a tattoo (not like that guy above :D), but I never went through with it, and now I have lost the craving... ;)

let's see....when I was in my early 20's I weighed in at a comfy 72kg at 36 I way in at a well padded 140kg! I'm glad I didn't get a tattoo...anything that would have looked cool would have looked really dumb on the fat guy I am today. So personally I think tattoo's are a bit of a short sighted thing.
That said, I'm inclined to agree with the other guys, go big or go home. Don't go getting yourself a girlie tattoo....you mention you want it small and maybe on the ankle so you can hide it when you want it....well that's not the point of decoration, you are getting it to show it off and if you aren't ready to show it off then you aren't ready to get one....and *that* is my 2 cents ;)
