Seeing that more than a couplf of WrG forumites have this game and with an expansion TBA in March it could be nice to know if any online skirmishes could be organised.
Latest patch last i heard was 1.06 or "Patch 4" like they call it.
Any idea when the best times could be arranged for a match?

Some info from Shacknews (http://www.3dgamers.com/news/more/1096484174/) on the release of the Act of War High Treason demo by Atari this Thursday which will have one single-player map and two multiplayer maps.
Nice! :)

An interview (http://www.shacknews.com/extras/2006/030806_actofwar_hightreason_1.x) with the game developers available from Shacknews.
Snippet :
"Shack: Act of War: Direct Action received high marks when it was released last year, but it seems that the game was overlooked by the gaming public (at least in North America). Any idea why this is?
Henrik Strandberg: With Act of War: Direct Action, we dedicated a lot of marketing resources in the U.S. in trying to reach audiences with a general interest in modern warfare and PC gaming, i.e. not necessarily the traditional RTS gamers. In hindsight, perhaps we would have had better results if we'd done a more traditional "PC RTS" marketing campaign -- as our colleagues in Atari Europe did -- but it's always easy to say when you have the results. We're still very happy with the reception and critical acclaim though, and hope this expansion pack will breathe some new life into the community of devoted fans all over the world.
Could be something to look forward too in this expansion.

got to try the demo after i downloaded it over the weekend, one single player mission and have to find somebody to try out the multiplayer... same as before with a few newer graphical touches here and there, a few GUI enhancements show status of builder and healing units which is a good touch.
overall seems like a solid expansion moving on.. i think i migh proceed to finish the first game before though, i only got to the 5th mission in the campaign.
