So last night i was bad and played some guild wars when i noticed we got two new officers:bow: . Congrats to those guys and i got 2 questions.

1. How does officer election work? i.e. how do u become one
2. What extra options is an officer entitled to in the game?

Well,

Officers have only like 2 options normal members dont.
They get to invite others, and kick them from the guild.
Also they are the only one's that can start GVG battles.

Feedback from other officers on some members efforts are noted and thus given the respective officer rights.

So, basically it costs money to be an officer :D (Since I have never kicked anybody from a guild or started a GvG battle and invites cost 100 gold each.)

We do not have a formal process for electing officers, so I guess the best approach at the moment is to bribe useless, the guild leader.

Edit: Useless, I thought I could organize some bribes for you and now you let the cat out of the bag. :D

OK, on a more serious note, we have noticed that Vexx007 and Paragon plays a lot and help other members regularly etc. I do not think we have specific limits on who can be officers etc., so if you think somebody should be an officer, please let us know. But to be honest, there is little benefit in being an officer, except for the noddy badge aspect.

Also, we can obviously not make everybody officers the day they join. Officers have the power to kick members and unfortunately on the internet one always have to watch out for griefers etc. The same way that most of us are not admins on this forum. Not that I expect we shall ever get into that situation, but always better to be alert for problems. If any officer abuse their powers, please inform useless ASAP.

Since Xeye do not play much GW any more, I have changed him to a normal guild member. Artanus, since he is the ex-leader of The Southern Storm, I have made an him officer in Xeye's place.

I will as always endeavor to help out as best i can as well as uphold the guild morals and structure:police::whip:. I am very much getting involved with the GVG and PVP and scrimmage of the guild and would gladly like to help head up some of the teams with Paragon (as i recently found out only officers can initiate GVG):cool:
