I've been playing with some of the war geeks on and off for a while now, so I thought it's time for me to introduce myself and get more involved.

I used to do LAN sessions of Quake (all of them), Unreal/Unreal Tournament, good ol' X-Wing vs Tie fighter etc etc etc with Eyeball, Vortex, Blacksheep and some other guys that somehow managed to kick the addiction ;)

I moved to England in 1999, so lost contact with the guys and moved to solo games, but Eyeball managed to get me hooked on WoW and now I'm trying my best to get him to play Rift with me *cough* *cough*.

I'm loving BF3 atm and hope to join in as much as possible to kick ass and chew bubblegum.

Welcome Oom! Now I must ask you a question: Do you always bail at the first hint of trouble and leave team mates in the lurch? If so you will fit right in here...

 Well said !

Askari is quite good with his flying though - I had the opportunity to fly with him later in the evening, and also had a few nail-biting moments of sheer terror, followed by resignation, and then amazement that we were still in one piece :yikes: If it had been me flying we would have eaten dirt ! :D

Hi OomX - Eyeball has been saying really horrible things about you.

To be fair, I probably did throw a wobble and jumped out when I shouldn't have... but seeing how bad my flying skills are, I find it hard to trust others.

Nah dude your flying is ace, but this kinda reminds me of my early BF2 days when I took WeeWee for a spin in the 2 seater jet and decided to cruise through the tunnel at Kubra dam. She bailed on me because she doubted my flying skills, despite me clearing the tunnel "Like a Bass!"

WeeWee ..

No dude, let him go down alone if he is that attached to the chopper! The way I see it you get another chance to knife some guys that you landed behind when it does go down.

Hi man!! It's been too long! I'm planning to get thoroughly addicted to SWTOR (didn't get into the betas sadly) :D

It's hard these days to be able to use MasterX, so i've kinda settled on OomX (for now)...

We were newly acquainted, you could hardly blame me! Now I know you're a crazy person, I am less frightened by your madness. Don't forget to add that after that I did go through the tunnel with you and stayed all the way. Voicy..

Sorry MasterVortex, I'm not brilliant at these forum etiquette (or real life etiquette for that matter) ;)

It's been good playing bf3 with you guys again! What else do you play these days?

P.S. Just realised I never replied to your wife either... eeeek!

Hi there Tresbien! I hope you've managed to calm Vortex down... I remember racing down Ontdekkers with Jason (that never happened... I don't know what you're talking about!)

Hey Wawa

I met Vortex and Sheepy many years ago irl at oomX's spot , we used to game (LAN) once a week , usually on a monday night If I remember correctly. those were the good ol days where you used to have an ISDN line at your house to download your mail only.

Then he left to UK and I we started bf2'ing ... there I met you and Vorty online and I became a member.

We've also been playing bf3 a bit but you weren't online

does this help :)

Hi WondaWoman. I used to go by MasterX or MasterXavier... but these days I don't feel that superior any more ;)

I'm not sure how much personal info people like posting on these public forums, so I'll leave it to Eyeball (thanks for already doing it), Sheepy and Vortex to fill in the gaps.

See ya online :D

MasterX and I also studied together, then we worked together for a while before he went off galavanting across the world!
Running into Eye-8-all was pure happenstance on one of our server hogging sessions in BF2142.
