Hey Geeks

Quick one for you all. I have started a community initiative called JHBGamers and partnered up with guys in DBN and CPT.
The premise of it is for like minded people, in this case, Gamers, to get together and meet socially and basically do what we do with pizza meetups.
However we get the industry involved as well and have distributors and media attend, giving them a chance to meet their market face to face. Sometimes the distributors bring a long some prizes and goodies for all. But we focus on the social aspect (I know right, so unlike a gamer).

SO anyways if you folks are keen to see what it's all about. Look for @JHBGamers on Twitter and JHBGamers on FB. DBn you can find @DBNGamers on Twitter and DBNGamers on FB. Cpt look for @2UPGamers on Twitter and 2UPGamers on FB.
Soon there will be a site dedicated to them as well.

Whoops, at first glance I read the thread title as Communist initiatives :o

I'll try to make the Jhb gatherings, but I can't guarantee that I'll be able to get to Jhb everytime.
And isn't there a Pta Gamers community as well? I'm pretty sure I met some guys at the last Jhb gamers event I went to who said something about a Pta gathering.

Yeah there is a @PTAGamers Twitter account as well, That is run by Nick from LazyGamer (well not anymore he left LG) But still runs the account afaik.
But they pretty much run their own thing, also very erratic meeting times, more so than JHBGamers :P

But hey last time you made it you got a copy of NFS for free :)
