Who would be interested in Saitek stuff?
I spoke to Nerdboy about the distributorship earlier this week. There isn't a local agent.
I guess they are known best for joysticks but they have keyboards too, one of which received a pretty good review in a recent mag.
This isn't about us giving up our jobs and making money off of Geeks but seeing if it is worthwhile to even start the paperwork.

There used to be a local distrubutor, but I see that they are no longer listed here http://www.saitek.com/row/info/contact.htm . I managed to track the guy down but he was downright useless.
I would be interested.

Fivel's blue l33t keyboard IS spicy and nice... i just dont know how much would it retail for in SA...
thus far the only item i could think of upgrading would be a keyboard... i dont see many games requiring a joystick anymore ( other than plane flying in BF2 ).

Rainy - there are a number of places selling Saitek kit in SA - but there is a 4 week delivery period because they import on order.

Yeah well, I imported a Saitek Joystick and a Gamepad through a friend in Germany. Took even longer.
Seriously, I don't think you will be able to keep a lot of stock. South Africa is not very clued up on Saitek's quality in terms of game controllers. It may be very difficult to even close a deal.
