Who remembers playing Commandos? EIDOS's strategy game where you control a squad of allied members behind enemy lines, it was a very unforgiving but rewarding game at the same time.

Well its sequel is going to be in full 3D this time and here (http://ve3d.ign.com/articles/681/681145p1.html) are some new screenshots.

I think it might feature LAN/online play as well.

I played Commandos. Didn't like it very much. While it pretended to give you freedom and variable tactics, at the end of the day there usually was only one way to finish a mission. And as you say, it was very unforgiving.

At least Commandos 2 had a LAN Co-Op feature...
