I made this suggestion already: this is a thread where everyone can post his favourite episodes from BF2 games.

I had two today: managed to take out a chopper twice with the sniper rifle. I am especially proud of the fact that the one crew consisted of AsaultToxic and AsaultAssassin Die! Die! Die!

At the famous suburb flag on Karkand, spawn as Spec Ops since two Engineer APC's were capping the flag. Run towards first one, plant 2xC4... got selfish and planted another 2xC4 behind other APC. Right-click, about to pull switch and... DAO-12 BANG BANG... man down.

It would have been so sweet. :(

Lol. I had the exact same experience the Square.

My favourites are still mass kills from random grenades. Karkand: running between suburb and square I thought I heard guys coming up the stairs. As I let the grenade go a guy popped up and took me out. The rest of the squad new nothing of the grenade and I got 3 post mortem kills. Lovely :)

Another favourite is standing at the Mashtuur Mosque and noob tubing jeeps that are capping backyard flag.

Aha .. must post this one .. from last night - was busy capping TV station (by my lonesome, so flag was taking FOREVER to change) when I notice a grenade bouncing in through door. Rush out quickly (avoiding explosion by some miracle) and shotgun the grenade thrower to death just as he is trying to throw the next one. He was backpeddaling down the stairs so fast he probably gave himself a haernia ... :D

Spawn at right hand US base @ karkand, rushing forward. Launch a grenade at random at 2x armour vehicles in the right hand road at extreme long distance.

Ooo. Favourite random shot, never to be repeated, on Op. Clean Sweap. The blackhawk was miles away, but three bursts with the spec ops G36c at the cabin netted me three crew kills.

And how can I forget!!! My best kill ever:
Karkand, Hotel flag, enemy tank pulls up under the flag - emptied the f2000 grenade launcher on top of the turrent and I took it out!

My Favourite. Kubra Dam. Spawned at the MEC airbase. Grabbed the tank. Headed up the right hand side. You go up to the top where the anti-air spawns. As I'm riding up the road this American jet comes over the top. The pilot has been terrorizing our team, he is good, I know he has seen me and I know I'm about to be taken out. I start reversing the tank down the slope but it feels like I'm not moving. I think what the hell. I lift the muzzle and fire. Wham right on the nose and I've got bits of jet raining down on me. Could'nt believe my luck. Puts a smile on yer face I tell ya!

My Fav also includes Assasin and toxic... we're on "Mashtuur City" playing as MEC and I spot these two running through our arty coming down the hill towards the main buildings and flags..I . so I double back on the northen side of bulding and hide behind the box (playing as AT with shotgun unlock) so Toxic comes trotting past box and catches two in the back... I then follow route Toxic would have run, I round corner and spot Assasin and plug two into him. Love killing those guys.. da sweetest kills!!!

The chopper kill was actually a totally lucky shot. I just joined the game and saw the chopper, took a blind aim at it and let rip (with the M95). Next thing I know, chopper explodes and

and a squaddie over the voip saying "Good shot with the sniper there..." :D

Then of course there are the kills of one's fellow clan members that are particularly satisfying ;)
They certainly rate right up there for me ... nothing is quite as good as seeing:

heck, you might call this spawn raping but there were plenty of flags for the enemy to respawn last night :

At Sharqui i was by the AA at the Hotel which overlooks the TV Station's Helipad, i spent around 20 mins popping AA's at the poor buggers who kept trying to take-off with the chopper of the tower. I must have shot their chopper 10 times due to the AA score, but at least i was keeping it off my team's back for the whole round.

Nothing like payback from a grunt. :D

at Karkand i kept bumping into the tank driven by TheSaint and Stoke.... funny how while i await my main gun to reload i shoot the cr@p out of Stoke with the tank's machine gun... and he doesnt duck... :p

I just love to get back on snipers. Did that with Robin a few times - he killed me, I noted the position, spawned on the other side of the map and went for him. Works most of the time :p

Okay, more of an 'infamous' moment :

Daquin Oilfields - trying to get ordinance badge - spawn and the power thinging in the west and the only vehicle is a truck. Okay, slap all my c4 on it, empty a magazine into it and off I go. And the centre flag (amongst the fuel tanks) there's 2x enemy APC'sand a tank all bunched up under the flag, my lucky day! Max speed, ram the APC in the middle and *thump*. fricken truck doesn't blow. :(

Now having got their attention I bail and try to detonate, only to be killed by getting squished between the vehicles when I jumped out. Double :(

Hmm.. Now that's something I never thought of: Weaken the vehicle when going kamikazi... Usually you expect the vehicle you're ramming with to explode anyways :p

It has happened to me on the odd occasion where there has been an almighty 'thunk', and nothing has happened. Most galling.

I've resorted back to shooting the buggy since I had a bad experience with a grenade - I loaded the buggy with c4 then, having forgot, I ran away thew a grenade underneath. Did you know that the 3 second timer on a grenade is long enough for someone to spawn and steal your jeep? Oh, and that a grenade will set off C4. . . . .

This jump out of vehicle thing is always trechurous [?] ... I have succesfully dodged a falling chopper husk only to be killed by it exploding when I walk past it. Or ... it slides off the thing that it fell on [moving at 2mm an hour] and then kills me ... sneaky sneaky.

i have issues when driving a C4 ladden vehicle through friendly lines if its badly shotup, imagine a slight bump against ANY other vehicle that is friendly and voila... TK... TK... TK... TK... KICKED.

best way is to booby trap a APC and ride into the thick of it... at least your survive the first tank shot and be close enough to die in their midst taking them all with you. :p

Ahem, my favourite kill tonight - boobied buggy, taking the supply station on Kubra, I bail to check inside only to hear my buggy start up. pop out and who should have nicked it - Xeye. From there it was slow motion, pull out the detonator, wave goodbye :D

Last night - got the idea from doobi (scum bag! :D) - was doing the C4 kami chopper thing with the blackhawk on Kubra. I was laughing my ass off at some of the ridiculous kills I got.

I'm heading from the US base towards refueling station, I'm travelling quite low down the road towards it, and I see an enemy soldier just standing in the middle of the road - obviously watching daisies grow... or he was fiddling in his pants, or something.

Anyway, I dip the nose down so it's scraping the ground, and I smear him into the road. What fun!

i remember a mashtuur city momeny... the assault.... err.. sorry asault ( oh why didn't i learn to spell) boys were doing the black hawk raping trips.. anyway so i ran upto the black hawk base.. placed a c4 on the heli pad and ran off to the hill... the black hawk goes down. so i wait for it to spawn and for people to climb in.... now my c4 is there in broad daylight! so the chopper spawns... toxic climbs in .... i don't see how many climb in so i detonate anyway... 1 kill , assassin pipes up over txt, " you are so stupid there was one one person in it" ..... i pipe back " yes , i'm so stupid, i just took your raping black hawk down for another 20 seconds and i got a free kill, loser"... anyway... so they all hop in the black hawk and lift off... little do they know that me and my 2 buddies are all sitting in hummers at the hill... they fly about 100 meters and we pepper the boys down... this till i kill the entire assault squad , so i pipe up over txt "assassin, is that better?"

Hmm, my fav was on Dragon valley at the flag ontop of the hill near the US carrier, I was sneaky Spec ops, hiding in trees, enemy attack chopper starts capping flag, I run up from the right, bless it with 2 X c4 charges,and BOOM, happened twice....

Also right up there is when I managed to snipe the pilot (happened X3 so far)out of the attack chopper on Sharqi.

My favorite(s) has been in air defense. I earned my air defense badge in the Daqing Oilfields. The opposition, which included asault, was raping our team badly. After the fifth try at getting out of the starting base, took the air defense vehicle, and entered this pilot-killing zone. Got quite a few kills, got killed a lot more, but sure had a lot of fun giving some back that day:D .

Worst moment was in Strike at Karkand. We fought hard to take back our home base, and in the adrenalin rush after the enemy was cleared, I blew up the commanders trailer next to the flag.

Best "Snipe the Pilot" for me was last night. I didn't hit anywhere near the pilot :D

MEC gunship had taken a bit of a bashing and was heading home, so I took a lucky potshot at the tail with the m95 - 2x kills thank you very much.

one of my fav moments in bf was i was playing a support MEC, looking over backyard from the hills... and a black hawk starts obitting, and to burst shots at the hawks left side i killed the gunner and the left side passanger at the door, and the hawk was going around in an anti clockwise direction.

the other guys in the hawk must have thought their teamies bailed because the took the places of the dead dudes.

and i shot the next two guys on the left.

the squadleader was flying so they kept respawing and by now the first guys i killed were back in the chopper... the chopper flew in low and hovered still... so i let out a bunch of well placed shots...and got 3 more kills..

i have never in my life be so thrilled, it was... on a scale of 1 to 10.... epic not the amount of kills or the stupidity of the squad, it was just the sight of all those bodies falling out the chopper... classic

So it would seem tonight RN65 and i were having one for one snipping lessons untill he owned me so i had no choice but to hunt him down so i grab the BH and go for a fly by searching over the roof tops

suddenly there he is i hover above him on the roof thinking i could switch to the side gun take him out and carry on flying carefully position myself and press F3 next thing i know the chopper just falls softly on the roof before i can get one shot off

one time in band... um.... one time on the battlefield on wake island... the spawn raping was going so there where no USMC's on the actual island.. this left alot of us there sitting around shining our guns!!

so there i am hoping ontop of the tankhaving a good look at its insides and stuff... after i while i get bored... i look around and see most of the other players are just sitting around at the jet and heli spawn points etc etc... i then see off in the corner Angel109 standing quite far away... with her defribs in her hands... i hold down "Q" and select " need medic" ... my dude shouts out... "i need a medic over here" ... her character isntantly turns to life and starts making a beeline for me... then after about 30 meters .. she stops .. realises i'm not hurt... pipes up over txt "i'm not your little nurse"
made me laugh... the way the character beams into life.. runs full out.. and then just stops dead in the tracks!.. like "doh... i've been had"

Making my way up the crane, I look down on the building between Con Site and TV station, and see two snipers there. Taking careful aim, I give each a headshot. Bang! Bang!

A few minutes later, I think I actually died in between, up on the crane again, look down: same building, same guys, same procedure: Bang! Bang!

I had a great one on Friday night - Gulf of Oman, most easterly flag on the beach. I hear a rumble and a tank and two APC's come over the hill to take the flag. I'm hiding behind the entrance bunker, and ran out to c4 the leading tank, but he and apc 1 turned towards the flag, so I'm exposed to apc 2.

Through some miracle I make it into the gap between the tank and APC 1 as I hear APC 2 pulling in behind me

*click**click**click**click**click**click**boom* 3 kills, a flag defended and a kill assist when someone else took out APC 2. :D

Sort of made up for the k@k night that was Saturday.

my favourite time was when i got shot by a guy on the crane and im down to red health i hid and he forgot about me i proceded to climb up the crane and while climbing up a few health packs fell out from the second platform (weird) unfortuantly none of them hit me so im still on red health i get up to the platform to find 2 guys there looking at me funny the one rainynight or one of the other wrg guys with a sniper rifle to my head and the other with a m16a2 also to my head soo.... i pull out my knife and 2 quik hit to there heads and 2 knife kills in the bag i go further up the crane to find 2 unsuspecting snipers also looking at me funny i quikly knife them both i then kill a few guys with my g3c6 and then parachut down to cap the construction site

he he he not bad for 1 cranes work un fortunate ly i still dont have my knife badge boohoo:(

The other day, I took a chopper out with the MG36. Just kept firing and firing, until it exploded overhead - 3 kills. And while I am still standing there, in awe about what I just did, the helicopter wreck lands on top of me:

nice. I hate being one of those AT guys :p Typically, you duck and dive for ages trying to take down armor and someone steals it *sigh*, but I guess what goes around comes around.

I had a "beautiful steal" two nights ago - defending the warehouse, an APC came in the front - as AT I got him once, okay reload, as I let off round two, two other AT's let rip - 3 simultaneous hits, it was beautiful. I just didn't get the kill shot, *sigh*.

Oooh yes, took out a M1A1 last night with the t00b defending the factory flag. Must have been damaged by the TOW .
First t00b killed the gunner, second t00b sent the tank running, third t00b finished of the tank with the driver and respawned gunner.:D
Best of all, they did not shoot back one shot because they couldn't figure out I was hiding on the roof.

Last night on Mashturr city, got fedup with BH, keeps wiping us out. we have a tank at hotel with mutiple bogies. Keeps on killing our whole squad. This quy comes up with the idea, lets take the MEC stransport( magic schoolbus) . One antitank and one engineer in the back.

Ok Lets try.

Took out tank from the back of the bus, no prob, took out two humvees and two vodnics before ammo was gone, what a blast, geues whats my new strategy on that map against the BH. Imagene fiering the rochets at the BH, with the patch now it should only take 2 shots.

That schoolbus gives me an idea. similar to "c4 rain" - TWO ATs at the back and support pilot - engineer if there's space. You become a mobile AT powerhouse.

The problem with firing AT out of any chopper is that it is very difficult to predict where the missile will go if you're moving.

The only option is to hover, which leaves you vulnerable to being:

a) Shot by tank
b) Brought down by any heavy machine gun
c) Shot by AT

And all of the above is especially true now that the aircraft armour has been reduced drastically.

yes and no - you can guide most AT rockets if you keep the fire button down. It just seems a lot more sportsmanly than "poo'ing" c4 :p

Classic one tonight- Daquing Oilfields (Flag just south of he middle one ) So I grab teh AA and notice some guys sneaking to the flag, what insued was me chasing 3 guys around a pole and flag for about 2 minutes.

2 medics and an AT - I killed them so many times I got my basic AA badge :D

Just had to revive this thread to tell you of one of those episodes that make you giggle like a maniac for a few minutes.

Last night I played MEC commander on Karkand (Urban 2). Just for fun I picked the Spec Ops kit and laced the factory flag with C4. Never thought I would actually get to use it (or live long enough to do so), but lo and behold, some time later a group of Marines make their way to that flag. Saw them on the scan just in time, grabbed the detonator and made them go boom. Netted me at least five kills. Sweet times :D

Yeah you would have had me stukkend, I was being a good squaddie and hiding on the roof to create a spawn then suddenly I take some damage!
Its a good thing I was a medic cos you were 1 pistol hit away from taking the tags there.
