Games of Chance !

It has been fortold by the scribe that Sing Jea monastery will be hosting the dragon festavil games of chance again this comming weekend. The dragon arena will also be availabe.
So any of you would be title hunters, stock up on some tickets and join me in my lucky circle this weekend.

can you give a bit more detail

like what is it ?
what do need to do to be there ? ie factions, nightfall, pay gus 1 mil zim $ ...
where do i get these ticket ?
and is it okay if im not that lucky ?

If is in factions, in the starter monestary, so that everybody who has factions can take part. There will probably be a ticket seller, like last time.

There are titles both for lucky and unlucky.

And I prefer game gold to zim $. Thanks. :D It is worth more. :rofl:

Right.

You buy Tickets (http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Festival_Ticket) from the NPC there.
You can then play one of the games available, such as Rings of Fortune (http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Rings_of_Fortune), Nine Rings (http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Nine_Rings) or the Dragon Arena (http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Dragon_Arena)
The games of chance will increase you Lucky and Unlucky (http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Titles#Lucky) titles.

There are statistics of where to stand for maximum efficiancy, due to its random nature. However during the origional dragon festival, I tracked the win loss ratio's of each ring for an hour, and noticed a slight anomaly in the nine rings game, and manage to get 43000 wins for just over 16k gold instead of the 40k statisticaly required. Perhaps we could find another anomily to exploit this weekend :D

So, time to farm some gold guys, or perhaps a FOW forest and spider run or six ;)

I presume your char has to be a level 20?
That already puts me in the 'unlucky' class. :(

Your character only had to be lvl 1 last time round, so I would expect you would be able to join in. From the sounds of things, you just need to have Factions to take part.

Yup, that is true. There is no level limit, and the titles are given to all your characters on your account, and any new charaters you will create in the future :woot:

Made about 80k in the games this weekend,
Well, i paid for 250 tickets, then won the rest.
250 tickets was 3.7k
i ended up with 21 * 250 tickets.
Sold it all, and called it a day.
Just missed my title though
