I find this level structure a bit confusing. And they really made sure that you have to do some hardcore gaming before you can get the weapon unlocks...

GLOBAL UNLOCKS

TROEP UNLOCKS

1 = 2 Grenades
2 = Sprint Longer
3 = Better Stamina [Recover from sprint faster]
4 = Larger pistol clip [Cos you really do use a pistol in 2142 .. no really :mad:]
5 = Extra Grenade.

Squad Leader Unlocks

1 = ULSB [Unit Leader Spawn Beacon] Team Leader Deployed Mobile Spawn Point. Squad must contain at least 1 peep.
2 = RD-4 Otus Baby UAV for the Squad [Shorter range than Commander UAV]. Squad must contain at least 1 peep.
3 = SD-8 Accipitater [EA is trying to make you trip over your toungue] Sentry drone that is deployed by team leader and it shoots enemy peeps. Squad must contain at least 3 peeps.

Easy to understand. Well, the globals aren't that bad.

RECON

Two Choices - Specialised Sniper or Special Operations.
I recon 90% of peeps, even Rainy, will go the Special Operations route initalliy.

Specialised Sniper Path

1 = APM [Anti Personal Mine] Claymore.
2 = DysTek Hi-Scope x4 - Adjustable higher zoom mode.
3 = Gruber 5 Stabilizer - Reduces sway while aiming with the rifle - YEA !
4 = Zeller-H Advanced Sniper Rifle.

Special Operations Path

1 = RDX DemoPak - Remotely detonated explosive.
2 = NetBat Fade Delay - [UAV Red Dots longer] Delays the fade of NetBat information.
3 = IT-33 [Invisibility] Active Camouflage System
4 = Lambert Carbine

Spec Ops FTW !

i dont get why they combined the kits

and what is one apm (claymore) the 2 in bf2 aren't enough

i can see the community making stax of requests for changes which is going to mean patches and then patches for the patches...
Is there a patern here ? how were the patches in 1942 ?

i hope the support gun can get a better cooling system.

Taking a look at the game now I kinda like the unlocks the way they are structured...its going to mean each person is going to be playing in a very different way, not like BF2 where you look at the guy and go "Oh he's a sniper, I mustn't chase him around the corner he probably laid a claymore"...you have no idea what the guy equipped himself with and I think when guys start getting those weapons many of them will start owning with them...so rank will actually mean something.

I think I will try and go both paths. The camo thing is not nearly as effective as I thought it would be, so for now I'd rather go for the zoom scope and stabilizer.
