Plz Help! My cap ain't Lasting...

I dont understand i have 3gb cap (With mweb) and it just ain't lasting! I've cut down on talking on xfire and skype and it doesnt help!I dont download anything (except updates for games which are not big 30mb+-) and i only play games.Does games like Guild wars and BF2142 chow ure cap or is it something else? I had to spend soo much money on boosters and then i still get capped!If anyone has any advice for me plz post it.Thnx :)

BF2142 and BF2 chows cap like there is no tomorrow. I started playing GW to save on my cap. I had to buy two extra gigs so far since I got BF2142. Never had to do that for GW.

gw's is pretty light on the cap. its the 100+ mb per hour of Bf* that takes it to a new level !!!

Cut MWeb and get yourself a Telkom account. They don't cut you off the minute the cap is reached. I have been over every single month since January, sometimes as much as 10Gb and more.

Yup .. get off ripoffweb and comonover to the teklom side.
My 3GB teklom account is right now sitting at 8.5 GB's, and i'm stil uncapped.
Last month was 6.5GB, month before was 4.3, month before was 10.3Gb and was capped.
Teklom's is the best account out there.

Damn BF2142 chows cap :( that sux!
Well stupid mweb said that i need to give a months notice to cancel which is in fact very sly because when i first went with them i had to pay double subscription fees :( because they said u must do that so when u cancel u dont have to give months notice and now they say that only applies for the first 2months! :mad:

Teklom will cut you off at some point.
That point is unknown but it's generally around 6 - 14 GB's.
It all depends on what the entire pool of teklom ADSL users are doing.
If everybody in the pool is using all of their allocated 3GB, then we'll all be cut off at about 3.5 GB's.

So far it's been hexxtremely good.
Give MWeb notice in writing now.

Dude, make sure you change your BF2 or BF 2142 general setting from T1/LAN to dsl/256Kb.

BF2= resource HOG of note....so, if it believes it has access to more bandwidth..it will gobble it up, regardless of it being needed or not...
