Is anyone else interested in model kit building?
I've just bought myself this (http://www.modelrectifier.com/products/plasticModels/productAcademy.asp?ID=969&Subcategory=Aircraft) - probably not a good idea for a novice. :p
Anyway, my idea is to build various military craft, as seen in bf2. :)
This blackhawk alone is going to take me quite awhile, considering how intricate it is.
Anyway, if anyone else is in to this kind of thing, or wants to get in to it, post here. If the interest is great enough, perhaps I'll make a forum for it.

That picture has the tail propeller facing backwards and not on the side.
Is that for real ?
It would really make flying forward that much easier.

Bad picture. It's on the right hand side.

Ack! No. Let me get used to building the frikkin things first. If I ever get proficient at it, maybe I'll look at improving the designs. :p

Punky is into RC Modelling. Got a whole minature machine shop for making his own bits and pieces. He bought himself a RC Helicopter about a week back. Was learning to fly it on Thursday. Lets just say that he errr... got the opportunity to make some parts. :) Anyways seems he's getting the hang of flying. If u want tips on fabricating your own stuff or need some help email him. He's trying to con me into getting a model Bell Jetranger Heli. I just can't get used to watching ma money fly away like that tho... :D Its one thing crashing the heli in BF2 ...Awww dang... wait for respawn.... Crash your model heli ..... ARRRRRGGGGG #$&%&$^$^$. Get your bank manager involved in RC Modelling. :)

Heh, no, I'm referring to the static models, not RC.

I used to build plane model kits when I was a child. Had a relatively detailed F18, a British Airways Trident plane, and even a model of a Russian space capsule.
But I stopped at some stage...
