This would be much funnier if it wasn't so frustratingly true. I've just about given up on BF2142.
I can hardly play a round without disconnect to DT. I sometimes have a vibrating screnn (try and aim with that!). When I right-click mouse to aim, the screen goes black and I only see the players' RED or BLUE nametags. Finally, sometimes pieces of the terrain is black. AAraaarggghhh!

Try turning off the firewall on your router - solved most of the disconnects for me ... but not an ideal solution, I know !!

Lol.... I couple a pile of punishes last night whilst trying to C4 the core. I would strap on a pile of boom boom, then check the coast is clear, then boom, blow up like 3 team mates, cause they magicly appeared right next to the core.

Also blew myself up flipping between the explosive and det, I switched from the det to strap some more on, then boom... turns out the server hadnt quite switched yet.
