Seriously good - best Bond movie I've seen (and I've seen them all). Very little gadgetery - lots of action. And it is long - the movie that is - I cannot comment on the media speculation regarding Daniel Craig's bits.

i agree with Albereth 100% that this was a very good movie (i too have seen them all). i went with an open mind not knowing what to expect of Daniel Craig and i must say that i am not totally dissappointed, in fact, as the movie progressed, he kinda grew on me.

there are a lot of very good action scenes (and a heartstopping torture scene).

i think i will remain a bond fan till the day i die. :D

You'll need to take your parents - there is an age restriction. No under 13s, 13-15 must be accompanied by an adult

Just watched it. Who wants to hear how it ends ?:D
Aaaahhhhh a macho male lead for a change *sighs dreamily*
Does the guy who runs away from bond in the beginning belong in an x-men movie rather ... or Jackie Chan? The man has some very intricate moves :hmmm:

Finally a Jimmy Bond who is tough-like-Sean-Connery's-toe-nails! Remember Roger "Hairless Chest and Androgenous Lisp" Moore? Or George "Wheeeee! Look I'm a Fire-Engine" Lazenby? Timothy "Mumble, mumble, BANG! BANG! Mumble, mumble" Dalton? Pierce "Ooooh, Arrgh!" Brosnan wasn't too bad, but Jimmy B is finally tough-like-Neddy's-armpits again!

You took the words right out of my mouth, Neddy! :rollani:

P.S. how tough are your armpits, btw?

Just close your eyes for the nutcracker scene. You shouldn't be exposed to such horrorsm at such a tender age.

Caught one of the last screenings on Saturday. I really enjoyed it. Daniel Craig makes for good Bond, and I enjoyed the lack of some old Bond clichees (Martini, gadgets, although for the next one I want to see some cool gadgets again ;) ). Bond solves problems with his brains and not just with firepower, and the supporting cast does a great job. The only thing that made me shudder slightly were the corny lines Bond delivers to Vesper (where he tells her that he loves her). That was just a bit outside the scope. Other than that, great movie and a worthy addition to the series.

I saw it and although I'm not going to post the whole big review I must say I DID enjoy the parkour/freerunning at the beginning :p
