Another EA money grilling "special" (http://www.commandandconquer.ea.com/).

Snippet :

"EA sends word that Command & Conquer The First Decade, a collection of every C&C game released to date, has shipped off to stores today. "Command & Conquer The First Decade is a true collection of amazing, innovative C&C games from the last ten years," said Louis Castle, VP of Creative Development at EALA. "We wanted to give back to our loyal community and avid fans and also offer a great way for gamers to experience the series and immerse themselves into the legendary franchise for the first time."

Check out the full PR in the comments."

So in other words more of the same and not for FREE. Amazing how almost after 10 years EA still wants people to PAY for these games??!?! Not that they are bad but... come on...

Meh... I wouldn't mind paying for that box, it's the only legal way to get hold of the old C&C games. However, I already have 'Command & Conquer Collection' boxset featuring Tiberian Sun, Firestorm, Red Alert 2, Yuri's Revenge and Renegade...

Man, I hate RTS games.
Mainly because I don't have a strategic bone in my body.

I challenge you to find me an RTS game that I will enjoy.

You should try Homeworld. That's what got me into RTS games...

I also enjoyed homeworld a lot, even went and bought HW2, and, BF2 ... oops ... mistake. HW2 has more dust on it than my remote control cars.

now lets see TG's case :

- Ground Control 1 & 2 ( minimal base build, more tactical gameplay )
- Dawn of War ( RTS with base and tactical control gameplay )
- Act of War ( C&C clone )
- Perimeter ( RTS with way too much complexity )
- Empire at War ( upcoming Star Wars based RTS, so-so demo )
- Age of Empires Series ( RTS with the AoE formula )

what did i miss?
