Query regarding winter fest!

I can't really come onto GW coz Im on mobile net in knysna so it sucks! My question regards the winterfest green weapons. Is it like halloween where you meet some fool and do some stuff and he gives you cool stuff? (i.e. mad king thorn?)

coz i checked on the site sumthin bout a ladder and betting and whatnot?
