Doh! I swear I answered this this morning :confused:

O well.

The bad: Unfortunately MS Points are region locked (bummer because UK points are R100/800points wher as the US points are R70/800)

The good: Getting them is otherwise piddle-sticks, simply log onto Live, go to the marketplace, add a credit card (You need to use a UK posta code, just google for one) And voila, you can purchase points from the comfort of your couch on your console.

The ugly: Because it's so darn easy, and £ look so few, you blink and you've spent R500 on arcade games :embarrassed:

i bought 2000 points.. got 1 charge on my credit card for the points

and 1 charge for R13 bucks, what the hells that for?

Is that not a reserve not a charge?

They do a test debit against your card to validate it, they don't actually process the transaction.

i've got to buy more soon. Worms HD will be mine mwahahaha . . .
