You know TG, for someone who doesnt own a console your certainly research them a lot. Do I sense the inevitable looming over the horizon in the near future?

I agree. It's time to face the inevitable. ;)

Halo 3?

Bleh. I just happen across the stories, it's not like I'm actively searching for them :p

And no, I very much doubt I will be getting one any time in the near future -- certainly not for the lack of want though.

well, Just sell half your SLi Rig and you should be able to afford one.

Or sell the whole thing, you know you're going to have to for the Dx10 upgrade anyway ;)

I must comment though, console gaming is no where near as immersive as PC gaming. I think it has a lot to do with the distance you sit from the screen.

Whether this is a good or bad thing.... well that up to you.

In my experience I find console gaming to be as immersive as PC gaming, or even a step or two beyond. The easiest game to note is Gears of War which via COOP and seamless connectivity without worrying about patches and game revisions is a bliss to play.

Sadly I cant find the equivalent in the PC gaming arena... cough... cough.:p

Slappy I just reckon you need a bigger TV ;)

It can also be the way you're sitting. I can play Zuma all slouched, but Gears and BurnOut have to be bright perky and o nthe edge of my seat.
