I haven't tried an Urban Server, but I have been on a few Int servers (Wake Island, Kubra Dam, Dalian Plant), with a friend, and the pilots (both Jet, and chopper), are nowhere near as good as the SA boys. Then again, there are thousands of servers out there, & I'm not sure where you'd fine the "top guns"....

I agree, ive been on many int servers, some are just plain easy, they suck at it. Others you lucky to get 5 kills the whole round. Choppes and jets, amn some of them will kick the sa boys asses.

They dont have such a cool community as we have and not nearly as much fun.

hmm my o my that thing it posts twice, hmm, problem exists between keyboard and chair. Yes why not hit a couple of them, as long as they dont have a rule against high pings you should be fine, you can play without hassle with a ping below 500, notmally 380 for us. Les lag than our servers anyway.

The stateside guys seem cooler than the UK lads with the lag issue. I've found the most friendly guys in Texas. Maybe its the fact that because of the size of the respective countries the US guys are used to higher ping players coming into a game. If u get onto a server, greet the peeps and say that you are from SA and you got a high ping an do they mind, I've generally found that they have respect for that and will let u play. By comparison the UK guys are far more anal about it, more than once I've already been on the kick vote before I can even finish typing the hello blurb. Also depends on the servers. A lot seem to have the ping threshold set at 200 so its autokick for us. There are, howeva, a few UK servers that are managed/sponsored by the big gaming mags/ISP's they dont really care about the ping thing and it seems the intl guys know which servers they are cause you find quite a lot of high ping lads from arb places like Aus and SA on the servers.

We just need to find a friendly server thats going to handle the invasion. Stateside is also fun cause if you remember the time differences then you'll realise that while it is 6pm here it is 2am there so... while you think we are uber BF2 players you have to remember you are catching some poor bastard in the bleary eye zone whilst you are fresh off the starting block. :bdog:
