Please see the link, recognise anybody?

Let me squash the rumours now, after i used the product, i told TG and some other folks, i wanted to see the validity of the products claims.

The FIRST Tottie Die Boesman got nailed within a week (less than 5 days, bought it on the Sunday, played 2 or 3 times, got the kick on the Friday) The crappy thing is that i had apparently been busted the FIRST GAME I PLAYED, punkbuster and the EA group just stall on the bans to catch as many people as possible, according to the MSX security forums.

They make it blatantly obvious that when you pay to use any of their products, you pay to SUBSCRIBE TO THE FORUMS, not use a 100% undetectable program. They are covered from every legal standpoint, so i paid a lovely $20 to destory a friend's CD key, LOL!

As for the 2nd tottie.die.boesman - he was legit, all the way through, not to mention the dearest SenorBlinky. You all know me well and long enough to know that i don't cheat (with Senorblinky at least  )

Bottom-line: if you ever think it's a good idea to use a some hax to get a badge or get good stats, your going to get them stats reset and a lifetime ban with that nick and CD key, it aint worth it y'all... it just isn't!

Keep in mind, that when you use hax with one account, it bans ALL the active accounts on that serial number, takes your IP and sometimes the serial number of your hardware, so you can't even play the same game with a new CD and a new ID from the same PC.

That's quite mean hey? Did the program at least work?

I'm often very suspicious of 5 headshots in a row from a PKM from miles away..

rainy

No it didn't, otherwise he wouldn't have been busted.

senorblinky
3rd May 2007, 04:22 PM
I'm not going to lie, the program is absolutely fantastic.
it's got an aimbot setting for each specific kit, or you can tune it in manually or just switch to "Generic head" (Plus you can switch of the recoil! That equals a VERY POTENT PKM!)
You could see the enemy, their names, their kits, their ammo counter and their current health - if it was red, the target was not obstructed, if it was yellow, they were behind cover. You could actually kill bots running up from hotel to Surveilance post with a pistol, whilst standing on the roof of TV station.

You could also remove explosion effects (IE flash bang etc.) plus you could be commander on your own (while another commander is ALREADY assigned) dropping RT etc, or your own UAVs, not that it matters cause all the enemies already show up on you mini-map. But i couldn't use the commander function, cause my game crashed, too little memory.

You could also switch teams at the press of a button without suiciding, but my favourite was the ability to revive your opponent, then kill him again.

Basically a lot of weird shtuffs, very funky, very RAM intensive and not 100% punkbuster proof, after all, they busted this punk with MINIMUM use of their crappy product!
Still they make their money, i'd log on to find "273 members currently online"... these bastards are stinkin rich, preying on n00bs.

Still, after you use it, you know what to look for. Some guys are extremely superhumanly good, but there's nothing weird about their play. Other guys kill you with one shot and don't even know how to get from outpost to fountain.

Still, if they cheat, they will get caught, nothing is 100%

That whole swapping team thing we were discussing this morning comes to mind. The guy who spawned with us and happened to be an enemy knew STRAIGHT away that he was on the other side.. he bailed for the chopper and turned the guns on us immediately. I wish I had a screenie of it..

It's not the guy who kills me with 1 shot that worries me so much as the guy who does it 5 times in a ROW with one PKM shot and you eventually find him miles away!

Yeah, Blinky did tell me about his escapades. Very scary stuff.
Well, it's good to know that it still gets caught from time to time.

I saw that cartillary macro in action earlier today, 24 cars dropped at once, then another 12 - then just before the round ended the sky went black there were so many.

Atleast I didn't have a hard time trying to get a ride! :D

there were many screenshots and fraps videos taken (none by me cause I was too busy staring) many said they will send them to sgs, so at the least he wont be allowed on the sgs servers anymore.

Edit: just a matter of interest - his name was (BoR9) beatlebaily :D

Unbelievable! And so obviously a hack too!

senorblinky
4th May 2007, 08:32 AM
Nah, might just have been a glitch...
The MSX security program doesn't have the cartillery option though (it's strange, because it says it does)

On a side note, some players have complained about a distorted screen (like you would associate with an explosion/flashbang) when they shoot at certain players. Two people told me that the screen actually went blank when they shot at certain peeps.

Now i can't see any kind of hax that would do that to you, it doesn't make sense, i mean it's run off a local machine not a server, so i don't understand how hax would affect OTHER peoples visuals, but enough people (3) have complained about it to get me worried. I've asked the concerned parties to send me screenshots, maybe I can identify some of it.

Have any of you experienced anything like that?

At one stage I was looking for map strats and commander tips and I got to this page , where you can buy some sorta program , detection proof , All it does it make the players bright colours ... big heads and tv missle you guide before it actually launches , instant kill , they say control with your normal wsad keys and click then on target and boom .... was really ODD .... I hope poeple aint that stupid to actually get that ... It would spoil the game for me personally

PS .. I had some funy things againt STS guys , Xander for one , we met up a few times , it looked like he was reloading and BAM dead with pkm ?!?!

I get the fantastic cannot aim at person's head glitch a lot.
Only with certain peeps.
It just means i have to don me F2000 for a while until they turn it off.

I had an odd experience last night on AF... I destroyed a tank (I thiiiink with Albereth driving, can't remember), and when the tank blew up my screen went all white as if I got flashbanged. It was a WTF kind of moment. It was most likely a glitch, or perhaps someone coincidentally threw a flashbang then - but I can't recall anybody using flashbangs during that entire round. Anything's possible though.

stoke
4th May 2007, 09:40 AM
Na .. i was flashbanged a lawt last night.

senorblinky
4th May 2007, 09:53 AM
But a flashbang has a very distinctive TWANG to it.
If you HEAR it, 9 times out of 10, you're blind! I think TG is more experienced than nawt to know the difference between the two, but he could've also had a momentary lapse...

Also, i've never been flashbanged whilst in an armour or aircraft of any sort (in a car, sure) normally i see the little poof of smoke but absolutely no white/ringing sensation on my screen when i'm those kinda vehicles.

TG
4th May 2007, 09:53 AM
Ahh well, there you go then. - And I did hear the *pwshh* of the flashbang going off. But it was simultaneous with the tank exploding. Coincidence, nothing more.

senorblinky
4th May 2007, 10:27 AM
Stranger things have happened though...

For instance, on Strike at Karkand, whilst standing at hotel, I shot the enemy commander ONE SHOT (headshot) with my PKM as he was driving of with the tank at factory.
And once, i flew the F-35 off of Operation clean sweep onto Shongua Stalemate... The enemy Comm kept on spotting the Jet, but no one believe him, so i bombed all the armours, kept on reloading by hovering over a supply crate on fish factory's roof!
Another time i killed someone with a grenade. It didn't explode, i just chucked it straight into the back of his head, and that knocked him out, killing him.
Sometimes when i time it correctly, i can run with the claymore in my hands, killing everyone running in front of me...
O ja, and this one time, it was kinda weird, cause i hadn't been drinking, i faced off against a squad of 6 support members and when they unloaded on me, i pulled the matrix breakdance, and consequently knifed all six of them. The other enemies that watch this dropped their guns and applauded (i have a screenshot of it somewhere) i also killed those peeps applauding, cause they were enemies... but mostly because they weren't cheering loud enough!

Yes, strange things...

I've been flashbanged and have flashbanged guys in tanks before.. Works like a charm when you see the tank charge off into a pole or wall or something 'cause he can't see..

You need someone to flashbang and another to run up and C4..

Still, if they cheat, they will get caught, nothing is 100%

Neither is there a 100% certainty that they will get caught.

The other thing with that MSX hax is that every single one of them is slightly different. Punk buster does struggle to trap them. But to think that people don't cheat - well that's just dumb. There are quite a few local peeps who have been banned permanently.

The other little bit of cheating that is going on are the stats padders who visit specific stat padding sites.

I don't think it's something that Punk Buster can catch - they're servers where the only weapons enabled are knife and pistol..

In the immortal words of Gamemaker..."They are all using hax!!"

The way I see it I don't really care...the guys who have been caught using hax have been some of the most surprising to me. Guys I never suspected...on the other hand I have suspected some guys of hacking and then checked thier stats and with the stats they usually have they need all the help they can get.

I don't really care about the haxxors myself...I just play the game, have fun and take moerse pride in my stats cause I earned them all legit.

the strangest thing for me was when i got back into bf.
i joined the wrg's in af night

on that night map i was tv'd every time i touch a vehicle in my base,
by the same guy, the funny thing is he was in his base at the time.
i can't remeber his nick, but i was so annoyed i disconnected right after the round

I read about those knife and pistol servers, (i actually tried playing on some, but got admin kicked within seconds - laaaag...) but apparently you'll get a nice big fat stats reset if EA catches you on something like that, just go check out their forums... You wanna risk it? didn't think so, it ain't worth it.

@Albe - ok, i asked google, but it didn't tell me anything i didn't already know,
So ok, i'll go ask Cena (evil) Wonder if he'll actually tell me... =)

For the rest, i'm pretty much with you Smints, with the exception of my Ground Defense and Air Defense badges, i sweat BLOOD to get the awards i have today. Team members perished, my KD took a knock, but it was all worthit! i never have to use that stinking useless pistol ever again, but i am certainly a dangerous claymore wielder now!

But an interesting thing i'd like to see is a stock standard vanilla map, with all the vehicles, team damage enabled blah blah blah - only, it's 999 tickets aside... Man, i'd love to be comm on that server!

Albereth
5th May 2007, 04:20 PM

6th May 2007, 10:58 AM
oooh....I got a nice list of guys I would like to send there. Reminds me of something that happened to me when I was a gunny. I had got my basic knife badge and back then you still had to repeat the whole 7 knifes in a round story to get the vetran (which I did later on karkand I will have you know). Anyway I was squadding with this one guy who was still pretty new (like me). While we are playing I see another guy join our squad...really quietly I might add, doesn't say a word, doesn't spawn on me nuffin'. He's also a high ranked player and well connected player...this was when the guys were still a lot more eletist and snobbish so I wasn't surprised. But I did recognise his nick (as will you when I tell you what it is). Anyway, the other noob (franz btw). Starts asking me if I want my knife badge realy quick. So I ask how? So he tells me, we just get some guys together and make sure we play on opposite sides...then we go to a quiet part of the map and have us some knife fights. I felt so bad telling this guy that was considered stat padding and would get his sorry ass banned. He said he didn't know....it was moments after I told him that the higher ranked player left the squad and it was only a few weeks later that I found out who he was exactly...his nick was Stallonwed...it was only later I realised that Stallonwed and Anthrax are one and the same.

Good thing I didn't give in to the pressure of getting that vet badge right then(I was rather desperate to get it at that point I remember).

Yeah... its always sad to think that so many peeps that U think are good... are probably just cheaters... and it always comes back to that age old question.... why on earth would u want to cheat in a game??

Anyway... if you are going to play the game... any game... online... U will always find some strange/haxxor kinda stuff going on...
So I just get on and play my game... and if I find there are jsut way too many strange occurances... then I go to another server...
and yes... :o ... I usually first have some rather nasty things to say... like poopy cakes... but still... I'd rather just move along and TRY to think better thoughts :)

Well Sminty, i have a similar story of an individual that said he knew a quick and easy way to get repair points (and if you have a semi-functioning brain, you'll also be able to think of various ways to get repair/supply/heal points quick fat and in a hurry)
When this individual started going on about what to do, i locked the squad (we were in a jet) and i did EXACTLY what you did, informed him that it was point farming. Of course, the person knew this, and denied ever having done it - i decided to play dumb, and gave him the benefit of the doubt, after all, he is a friend (But not a WarGeek or a BUD for the uber curious)

Still, i'm with Megnut - Why cheat?!
You have 100 hours to get 1000 repairs, which in my opinion is the most difficult points to get. But that's still a breakdown of 10 repairs per hour. I'm currently trying to get my support time up, BUT as soon as something gets blown up, i spawn engineer and run for the repair - that's 3 repair in the 5 minutes you were an engineer. So is 10 in an Hour really impossible? Talk to you comm, negotiate so he doesn't drop Supplies, Ask team mates to jump in and fix random cars, every teeny tiny little bit helps, but parking a car in water, or flipping it on the roof? You're TENDERING for a stats reset, THEN think of the work ahead of you!

I say, just be smart about it. For example - it took me 170 hours with the medic to get my 1000 heals (because i was stupid and NEVER dropped medpacks) but i'm not even halfway with my support kit, and i've already reached supply point quota. Just be smart about it, and you won't have to succumb to stat pad for a badge. How good are you going to feel about that badge anyway, if you padded to get it?

senorblinky
7th May 2007, 12:47 PM
@ SSS
You download and install an app which you have to login to use it everytime.
when you logged in, you have a drop down menu that you can select all the games you want to use the hax for. In that screen, it will give you the punkbuster status for the BFs, but it's not always current, as i said, poor Tottie got busted within +/- 3 games, the status only got changed like a day after the bust - the worst is, Sheep (he and Maz are the main developers of the MSX security hax) apologised for not updating us, he had some personal crap to deal with. I just laughed my little round head off, that was just the biggest load of carp i had ever heard (Like a prostitute saying she's not in the mood - IT'S YOUR JOB FFS!! IT'S THE ONLY THING YOU HAVE TO DO!)

So to answer your question, you have to be logged in. MSX had a thread detailing that once you installed it on a machine, you can only ever use it from THAT machine, BUT it also had a thread that said you had to reformat you entire computer if you got busted, that's the ONLY way to get rid of any MSX tracks and THEN install the updated copy to avoid punkbuster. So i don't know, a bit of a conflict or contradiction in their statements.

I suppose two people can use the same product, but they can't be logged in simultaneously.

But that brings me to my next question, and i suppose Albe would probably be the best to answer it - Howcome EA (and i'm assuming they do, that's how they update punkbuster) don't buy these products to stay ahead of the curve?

rainy
7th May 2007, 12:51 PM

so blinks.. this cheat program they gave you, whats to stop you from just letting all your friends copy it?

Having multiple copies of the same program means that it will be detectable quicker. It is supposed to work because every single copy differs slightly from the next - therefore there is no pattern to be detected.
