What does that have to do with a sense test? More than half the questions are trivia questions, not actual sense challenges. I was a bit disappointed. How the heck should I know which of the 3 out of Parmesan cheese, Red wine and Balsamic Vinegar contains butyric acid? And what the heck does that have to do with senses?

Yes! My thoughts exactly
My score wasn't too good.... what was yours rainy?
Apparently I have some sharpening to do.
Yellow, red, green, purple, blue. At least I got full marks for that one. :D

I had 9 out of 20.
That colours question would have been alright if they hadn't slapped a time limit on it.

I think I need to go do something I enjoy doing now to make me feel better :o
:hmmm: Will have to thank Dahlink later for the exhilarating sense test :p

12/20.. Apparently I suck. The "Cavier + White chocolate" thing would have been right if I had tasted Cavier before. I get put off by the smell.. :D
Oh, and the warped room question is just silly.. The whole room is intentionally warped so you have no references.. Bah..

Hmmmmm, I got 15/20.....maybe I'm sensible after all :D
@Rainy the smell of the Parmesan gave it away for me, it's the first thing I thought of whe I saw it as one of the option to choose.
Was a fun one though, will see if I find any other good ones.

Vorty, I wouldn't even want to begin thinking about the taste combinations they offered there. I guessed Pineapple and Soy sauce, but in real life I really wouldn't want to put these two together. And when they went on to white chocolate with broccoli, bacon or caviar, they lost me completely.

Basically they are referring to the contrast between salty & sweet.

I dont know about the guys that set up the test, but I personally enjoy bacon and chocolate. Who are they to tell me that I'm wrong? 10/20

I've had pineapple and soy-type sauce in a Thai meal, so I know it is quite good. Sweet 'n Sour type effect.
