.... its JHB! Dang! Who knew! This is the same system that they used to draw the Lotto tickets... really... ask the brother, mother and cousin of anyone who worked there.




Singit and I will be coming to Jhb. Ostensibly the purpose of the visit is to attend the engagement party of Singit's sister...but that is actually an elaborate cover so that we could visit the Geeks of Gauteng!

We will be in Jhb from the 26th of July to the 6th August. Since the cover event is on the last weekend in July that leaves with first weekend in August being free.

A get together on the Friday or Saturday would be great!
Where and when is still open to debate.

Looking forward to it already!

Hey - I am up for that. I suppose you'll be doing the stay in the East deal? Isn't there also something happening in the West more or less the same time?

Bah no worries, I'll send a life size (Blue steel pose) cardboard cutout of me with one of the geeks in the east.

So who is up for carrying Noodle around for a day. :D

Anyway, as I mentioned in another thread somewhere, 4th August at The Boma on North Rand Rd (Just around the corner from me). It's one of those all-you-can-eat type places (Used to be Boston BBQ way back when). If we can get an idea of numbers, we can make a booking. Can't remember exactly the price, it's around R75-R100 per head. I will confirm.

It would probably be best to leave the under 18's at home for this one (due to conversation, and not err, anything else).
