Ranks?

Ok now I am in the state of pure frustration, my rank is master gunnery Sergeant or something like that, the requirements for First Sergeant is 20 000 score and all basic badges, I got all the basic badges on score 20 050, my current score, 32 758.

Does anyone know exactly what is required to get the First Sergeant rank?

I have looked at a few of the stats of some guys and i cannot figure out what the difference is, some of them has a higher score than mine and some lower, ?????? :machinegun:

Me thinks EA's system has plenty bugs, me want to c4 their asses. Maybe knife the ceo.

Hello waj, I know exactly what you are talking about.

I am sorry to say that you will NEVER get to first sargeant, you will skip it completely. You have to have all you basic badges BEFORE reaching 20000 otherwise you will now qualify.

So you will only get your next rank at 50000, sorry to say:(

Donno, some guys get theirs at like 34000 round about there, me thinks that you require some of the ribbons to get it, ive got most except the command ribbons, will give it a shot at commanding and getting some of those ribbins.

More importantly what happens to your unlock. Do you get two unlocks at the next rank or do you miss an unlock because you missed the rank? :|

rburley, thanks man does clear up some things, but the question is still why do some guys get it like halfway to the 50 000 mark, bug maybe but me does think that i am going to have to slug it to 50 000 man, a lot of shooting.

Laugh at what they think of tow, man on sharqi when i start US I run to the tow, 90% of the time i get at least 5 kills the first few minutes. And its really cool shooting the crap out of a sniper so far you can only see his silhouette, ha ha ha and him sniper thought you’re toast lol.

Geez,I am struggling to get my basic expolices ordinance badge...it's eluding me all the time...by about 15 kills!

Have you checked the req. for SF ribbons?It's like 28oo hrs per team to get a ribbon!Fcking ridiculous!

You need to piss alot of ppl off to get your ordnance badge.
The simplest way (it worked for me anyway) is to plaster C4 on a buggy, and go armour hunting.
Do yourself a favor and stay onboard during the kill - if you hop out and get caught in the explosion, you'll be -2.

to further add advice on the C4 buggy, shoot up the buggy till its in the red so when you smack the armor or get shot it does the trick instantly... just be wary with friendlies or you might get some TK's in as well...

Kubra dam is a very good map to get ordinance, I think stalemate would be quite good as well.

And better than a buggy, use a school bus, they'll never see you coming . . . :p

Dalian plant rocks for ordinance, plenty of armour around and ample opportunities. They cant drift out into plains where they can take ten shots at you coming. When i got my basic, evey second time i went with the buggy i ended up inbetween two armours, boom, two kills or more.

Howeva, if you are one of those pesky knifing buggers, and scaly enough. Try urban on srharqi or karkand, but remember when you go for ordenance badges you never pull out your gun c4 only, else you will never get them. If you dont shoot at the buggers most of the time you can run right into them before they actually relise you are bad news. Ive done it a couple of times, man ive even crouched with them and given them ammo, and then hah ha ha ha, knife.

Cunning strategy is the answer.

Best way yet, go on the servers very late, the tickets count down slower the fewer people there are on the server.

hehe, yup, was in his squad when Dog went for it, and I ate a few of those claymores aswell, late at night u get insane scores and ample opportunity for badges etc.

But on the downside, if u want to get say Oh I dunno basic knife and pistol...forget it, late night dudes are kinda hardcore, or so it seems, I got my ass handed to meself real fast when I pulled out my pistol/knife, so I just kept on cuddling my PKM and MG36, life was good...

Hehe, I just had SUCH fun on the urb serv: CLAYMORES FTW!!! I absolutely pwnd with them... about 22 kills!!! 0_o. Darn. Just off.. Oh well :p

I came about 3rd in the round (in) OVERALL(s) twice, using basically only claymores!!!

You should get it next time you log in.
Badges don't matter at this point - only when you get to the 20,000 mark - then it determines if you go to first sgnt or master sgnt.

It work, Mr Fawlty, it work! I joined a game right at the end in good ol' Mashtuur City (swigging that ol' Janx Spirit) and got drilled by Pang Bullet thrice - spawned under his nose at Mosque), but got it after a damage assist against a lonely aardvark. TG is omnipotent....
