1: I want to buy it
2: very bandwidth friendly (wont chow ur CAP)
3: dreamy graphics on medium spec machines

5: u can get the UK import version for R265 from take2.co.za
6: there are plenty of SA guilds to choose from
7: no monthly subscription, like WoW etc.

9: Oh ja, theres a forum on SAIX for guildwars where u can have a chat with some of the SA guild members, ask more questions etc, friendly bunch, helpfull, just like me :)

9. as for bandwidth, its been friendly of late on shaped ADSL but you might need to obtain a VPN or unshaped ADSL in case you get packet loss.

7. you can select from either US or EU servers and can swap between them up to 5 times if needed.

Here is more info. Get a copy from CNA or Incredible. I got a copy yesterday, and it is pretty amazing. Absolutely no lag on International servers. Awsome graphics. And it plays really well too. Go get it...NOW!!!

Geebers Alby where do you get these old old old threads from?

Big difference is of course WOW is subscription and GW is once off. They seem to me to be at opposite ends of some scale. I'm not sure what one. I don't mean bad good scale. Things like instances, WoW has some, GW is all instance except for the towns. Skills, GW use 8 at a time, WoW uses everything you've ever learned. Armour and weapons crafting is highly detailed, complicated and great for character development in WoW, done by npcs in GW. GW art tries to be realistic, WoW is comic style.

I've found that GW hurts my eyes after extended periods of play, my one big criticism.

WoW doesn't work on my adsl connection, and that is my one big criticism of that.

No matter how awesome WoW might be, guild wars was done well enough and at a once off payment, it is alot more attractive to the average non hardcore rpg gamer.

Imo it's about what you like to play both of them are great games i just like playing GW more because of my lifestyle and how i can fit GW into it

The simple solution is to play both and decide for yourself which one it is you like the most and go for it

I'm a BUDdy 24hrs a day and i'm a Geek by nature just have fun man and quit this squabling

HAHAHAHA ou Smints, that's brilliant, it's like calling someone a nazi in an online debate when things don't go your way, comparing swimming without your bentley belt and playing a game is just silly!

Of course it is a primitive human instinct for someone to criticise something they know nothing about - it's basic psychology actually- they're just scared, shame man.
