Hey guys and gals. Just wanted to let you know I might be gone for a while, my dad's gone into the hospital for bypass surgery on his heart and I'm driving down to Mossel-Bay to be with him and the family. I'll keep you guys posted but basically I won't have internet for a while.

He's had the op and he's stable! The doctors are happy with his progress! Im still driving through in a bout 2hrs! Just thought I would let you guys know that! I'll keep you updated if anything else happens!

Ok, last update.

My father is doing very well and the doctors are happy with his progress. The nurses are currently making him do a few laps everyday up and down the hospital corridors to get his heart back in action and otherwise he is in relatively high spirits.

He is probably getting out of ICU into the general ward either tomorrow or Tuesday and possibly out of the hospital by Friday at which point my mom will take him to Knysna for 6 weeks to recover.

To all those who have given their support over the past week-and-a-bit I thank you from the bottom of my heart (no pun intended) and so does my dad and the rest of the family.
