Halo 3

Hey All.

Got it at midnight (I was still up playing gears and figured what the heck), anyways t is a nice solid game the hype did not kill it too much, but just don't expect it to end the AIDS epidemic.

Back on track here. I played it with a mate of mine last nigt co.op and it really runs well. Tis been too long since I have had a dcecent co op game :D

So the question is when you getting it, why don' you have it yet and it's 4 player co op, who want's to join :D

Got it last night as well, didnt have time to play it as yet so hopefully will give it a spin tonight. I can expect Rage to be solely Halo 3 playtime IMO! :)

Ooh. I was standing at the till at look n listen (who seem to have gotten out of the habit of removing discs from cases btw), and there was this nice huge ass halo 3 display... they even had the legendary edition (R899!). My wife kept slapping my hands every time they edged towards a box... dangit.

I guess it will have to wait a month or two, since I just got Bioshock. :p

I was too tired last night so I presume tonight is a good evening to get started with Halo 3. I shall be online just after 8PM. :)

Been playing till the wee hours as usual, am loving it :)

But playing Solo on Heroic . . . ****ing hell! I'm even scared of the grunts!

Got it on release day. On the last chapter now in heroic mode, after having to restart cause the stupid save mechanism...or lack there of anyway.... now I gotta go away for the bloody weekend :( Also, as I slapped in the DVD, the damm ADSL goes down...irony??

I must say I am impressed, although after Bioshock, single player seems a little unpolished, but being aimed at multiplayer I will let htis slide. A most excellent piece of gaming software.

We should start a Halo 3 clan.
Select a team badge and colour along with armor colour as well. then get a tag together and bam, pwne some guys :D

Either a demo disk from instore that should not have been opened or some idiot that does not have LIVE so can't play multi.....

The game doesn't support in game clans specifically, but there are groups on the bungie web site. Clan support should be shipping in the next dashboard update for all games.

But yeah, I'm keen to get game on. I'd like to finish Tsavo highway SP first then bring it on.

Last night during a Team Slayer match we bumped into a 4 player Hong Kong clan of sorts with all having the same symbol insignia. It was quite cool to see that even if we lost. :p

Hmph... Well my ADSL is still down. Stoopid Telkom. Well the good news is I finshed up the Single player game. Took all of 2 days. Was pretty awesome to see the final achievement popping up: 3 Achievements - 300G. Yip one hit, 300 points. Yay to the 6K mark :)

Klapped it last night on heroic, I have never sworn so much at a game before as this one (well the last section at least).

Now to finish it up on legendary, Yup give me the achievments baby ;)

see what i dont get is slappy told me he played this game during the crackdown beta and he cursed it too pieces....... now he goes n buys it

Let me defend my point here by saying that the Beta was total crap. After Lost Planet I steer clear of any game involving snow. But I thought what the hey, a mass marketing campaign cant be wrong can it?

OK fine, I sold my soul. But they got a great medical plan.

If you enjoy a single player campaign in which you can invite buddies and great matchmaking options for the online aspect then you cant go wrong with Halo 3. :)

If you base your analysis of Halo 3 on Snowbound I can understand why you didn't dig it, although Ruslan and I ( . .well Ruslan . .) owned a pair of American host ninja's on snowbound last night in ranked team doubles.

I must saying I'm loving Halo. Single player is handing me my a$$, in a loving sort of way and online ranked is just, well, the single best online experience I've had in any game on any platform, period. Awesome netcode, skills based matchmaking and the variety of playlists.
