Hey guys, a quick poll.

An opportunity (a legal one ;) ) has presented itself that I may be able to source Premium, PAL, region 2, 220 volt, Xbox 360's for about R3000, excluding shipping.

Shipping time looks to be in the region of a month.

Anyone interested?

We first have to see if it's a go. The suppliers a wholesaler, so it's a bulk order. We need to get a number of confirmed orders before we take the risk. I'll definitely keep you posted.

No it's the Premium, not the core, so it'll include (graciously ripped from Walmart):

EDIT: Doh, found the "neat version"

Xbox 360 Console
Hard Drive (20 GB)
Wireless Controller
Headset
Faceplate
Ethernet Connectivity Cable
Component HD-AV Cable
Xbox Live Silver membership
Xbox Live Gold 30-day trial

I voted no, but I mentioned it to a mate of mine, who is keen, so I guess you can add 1 to the Yes votes. I will keep him posted on developments here.

*sigh*

Sorry guys, we're busy doing some digging on the supplier and it's not looking good. False domain entries, obfusticated email addresses etc.

I'm sorry to have brought hope only to dash it, there's none more bitter than me :( On the up side, it's still coming to SA and we can hold thumbs for a decent entry price.

"obfusticated" - and here i thought defrilibator was the best word I knew. :p

no problem Doobi, thanks for the headsup and by the way Animeworx might be getting X360's by the 23rd of Feb.

Considering it's the 8th of March, it makes you wonder! ;) I do however have a confirmed legit source of Japanese NTSC 360's at the full price of $399, and they'll deliver world wide . . . .

oh bugger... sorry my bad... 23rd of MARCH it was suppose to show... eina.

as for the NTSC X360, you will struggle to find games in SA since you cant chip the new consoles as yet.

And that's the advantage of a PC... I don't have to modchip my box for a game that i bought on amazon.com :p

Yeah maybe, but, you never get to explore the side missions or play the dark side ;) Nor is it Hi - Def :p

It also doesn't double as a heater in winter.

and it can also be used to keep your neighbours awake at its 120db PMPO sound power! :D
