Replicating my speech from the braai

Since not everyone was there, and I think everyone should hear this, here's what I said at the braai today. It seemed like the right time and the right place to say it.

I went through some rough patches lately, and I am certainly not the only geek who has done so. I have however received a lot of support from other geeks, people offering help, places to stay, or just an ear and a shoulder. I'd have to say that without all this, without you guys, I would probably be packing to leave to Europe at this point in time. I'd like to say thanks and cheers to all of you. We may not be the best clan on the battlefield, but the amount of human qualities in this clan are second to none. Have one on yourself girls and guys - you are the best! I am proud and glad to be part of this clan. Geeks forever!

I know this is an old thread, but this is the first time I have read it and I have a couple of things to say.

The ppl in the Geeks clan are second to none.

I have also been through some hectic times over the last year and I have written about some of the stuff. There will be more coming.

One thing I could always rely on is getting an honest opinion and a helping hand in WrG.
