Really interesting few articles about the new Intel architecture ... it seems like they will get the performance crown until AMD comes up with their next step ...

Intel and AMD can play yo-yo for their lifetime, the one who wins is my wallet in the end of the day. ;)
as for on topic, AMD has already taken a big slice of the market and can afford to spend more time in R&D for better CPU's.

I have not seen AMD push a ground breaking product since pre P3 day. They always seem to have been playing catc up to intel.
Its good to see that distributed proccessing is starting to catch on with the big wigs at Intel. Its the only way to go (imho)

I really don't care. At the end of the day, the more affordable solution will win for me. Unless I ever win the lotto, then of course I will go for the best Performance available, which also means quarterly upgrades... :D
