You do - sort of - have a choice in your character appearance. There's not a heck of a lot you can choose tho.

ink does give it a variety as you can color code any items on yourself with any ink you find. just dont use black ink on yourself as its one of the most expensive commodities in the market valued at 6k of gold. ;)

it drops from monsters you slay... quite random and i think possibly rare... but well worth collecting should you encounter one. ;)

Yes, I think I found about 5 in the last five months. I know a guy that played six months heavily before finding his first one, so they are pretty rare.

You wil NEVER believe what I did. I found BLACK INK last night. Except I didnt know what it was. SO I GAVE IT AWAY!!!! FOR NOTHING!!!! doh! So now this guy is like my best friend in the world!

I really think we need to keep a thread on items and their value. Cause I have no idea what to sell things for. I will start. DONT GIVE AWAY BLACK INK!!!

@Megnut - crossover means ending the practice tutorial and entering the GW world where the major quests and storylines take place.

@Megnut - you don't need to have seperate copies of the game, you can install it on as many machines as you want. What matters is the account key that you get in the box. You can purchase more keys online - which, oddly enough, costs more than a boxed copy!

the other night i was playing pre sear and there were these two elemental standing talknig so i go sit in front of them and ask them to dance they do but not in-sink :D so ask the one to stop and start again it was so cool got them dancing the same moves at the same time wicked but then the on starts taking off her clothing i was in awe then they both ran away and left me sitting there on the floor all alone

gkm reporting fot duty. :D My wife and I was stuck at exactly the same spot once and also had to ask a guild member to get us through. We just died without getting anywhere, while that "The Way is Blocked" quest had to be done. I think that area got a bit hard after the so-called Area-of-Effect patch they did late last year, because it certainly was not that hard in the beginning as far as I can remember.

Jeesh, I got my ass handed to me when I went through there. You need some tough nuts in your party for that one. I still think I have that secure area quest in my log. Speaking of which, I am in a pickle, I got about 2 or 3 quests that are "completed" but I have to get to the last point for the reward. Obviously no one is interested in doing partial quests. Anyone want to help???

Anytime. My first mission though is to get better armor and some runes. Will cost me the last of my money :)

Interestingly enough, we managed to solve 'The Way is Blocked' passing by, we were actually going for Shiverpeak Stragglers, but both happened to have the other quest as well. However, useless had to clue me in on the fact that when you take multiple quests, you also have more enemies. In our first attempt, we not only had to struggle against Stone Summits, but also a whole lot of Snow Ettins... :cuckoo: :sad:

hey RN65... just after you left i gave it another bash and managed to wipe them out by dying twice...those pesky ranged attackers are a pain! :D

i only have the Ashes quest left now and have to move on from Borlis Pass to Kryta tonight if i can.

Full set of Drakescale Armor, slightly modified with Runes, and a Tamer's Mask. Btw., I always dye 3 pieces blue: boots, gloves and mask.

The bonus seems to be a bit difficult on this one. You have to find the 5 Chosen and escort them to the coast. One of them unfortunately always died on us...

Yes, it is a crappy bonus. I have never done it completely. You cannot split up to search for them, since the eye will only follow one person. You have to find them first, which takes forever and then keep them all alive, which is tricky. There are a lot easier ways to get 1000 xp.
