View Full Version : Superbad!

Rated R for pervasive crude and sexual content, strong language, drinking, some drug use and a fantasy/comic violent image - all involving teens.

If you plan to enjoy this flick, leave all pretensions at the door. Superbad is what it is: the jokes are crass, but spot on. The connection between the best friends seem very genuine, so despite all the gross out moments, they still make for ridiculously fun geeks.

People you wouldn't let see it.
Your children.
You parents.
Your girlfriend(we've had one give us the silent treatment for a week because of it)

But flipping funny, either it will totally appeal to you, or not at all.

I don't get it, I have a 4mb connection, and any Youtube/whatever website video's I try to watch takes for ever to buffer. I had this one going for ages to just get the first 10 seconds, gave up afterwards

that one dude in the car was in Knocked up aswell, that was pretty good too

i watched this last week and i totally loved it, it was flippen classic, watched bits over the weekend again.

My best is at the end when Seth tjoons ethan (they've been best friends forever)
Ok, i'll give you a call, i have your information... Man, funny!

And the fact that it has a happy ending also helps.

The cop with the handle bar moustache is Seth rogen, he is the new up and comer in hollywood - he's currently making a Kevin Smith film (i forget the title, but it's something about making a Porno - obviously a comedy, and since elizabeth banks is riding shotgun, i doubt we'll see any nudity) I think he is flippen hilarious, but the curly haired kid in the film is also very funny.

it was a cool no-brainer to watch.

Mc'lovin was pretty funny...as were the typical cops with him.

I was surprised to see George Michael from arrested development play in it too.

Movie wasnt too bad :) The fat kid made it work.

I don't know, i liked ethan, aka George Michael (i forgot about his arrested development days, now i'm laughing my head off at his flippen name... george michael, classic)
The fat kid, (Jonah hill), is also going to be a fantastic comedy actor, though i hope he gets more authoritative roles like Superbad, cause he was super lame in Accepted, but still pretty funny as the ever adoring Evan Baxter fan in Evan Almighty.

Actually, the squid you're using for proxy is not allowing you to make an http connection to port 801. You need to either add the port to the squid config, or add that IP to your proxy bypass list in your browser (If you can bypass the proxy, that is).

But i love that Voicy has taken on the roll of the thread warden - HAHAHAHAHAHA!!
