Ok, so the original of this show is a Japanese series called "Takeshi's Castle"
But the "Man Channel" bought the series and completely re-dubbed it, renaming the hosts, doing the voices for the contestants and adding some crazy sound effects.
The basic premise is for people to wear crazy costumes at times and navigate an interesting obstacle course. Of course, many fail, and it is really EXTREMELY funny, not only the way they get hurt, but the running commentary as well, it's just brilliantly written.
A standard show is about 20 minutes long, and you laugh from start to finish.
Here is a compilation clip of the top 25 most painful eliminations.

Now i have season 1 of this show, but they've made more, i'm sure of it - if someone wants to download it, please do, i guarantee you it won't be a waste of bandwidth.
Enjoy the clip!

Blinkers, when i lived in germany 7yrs ago I used to come home and watch the Takeshi's Castle RELIGEOUSLY every afternoon. It was simply the coolest thing since the release of pacman !
I have a good couple of the MXC eps on my pc and they always supply a good laugh. Glad to see i'm not the only one who finds this stuff funny.

I couldn't care less, as the resurrection is relevant to the thread.
It just pisses me off when someone resurrects an old thread just to add 'lol' or '*bump*' or some other crappy comment.

Dude, please get hold of Rainy, I gave him a dvd containing "The Flight of the Conchords" ... it is seriously THE funniest series I've watched in many many moons. You will LOVE it, blinkers. It's super dry new zealand humour.
You have to watch the first 4 episode all in a row to truly appreciate it!
