Have you ever played on the SGS servers? This where we can be found.

You can filter on "-= SGS" in your server browser, or use this link (http://www.game-monitor.com/search.php?qry=-%3D+SGS&game=bf2&country=&showFull=&showEmpty=).

The servers have a ping filter, so if you have a consistent high ping, you get booted off. You might want to give it a try.

Our players have a |WrG| tag prefix if you want to keep an eye out for us.

Aaaahh 1500k *eyes go all dreamy* Here we get all happy about 512k. Say what do you pay for something like that? In Aus dollahs is fine I'll do the math.

Ok, With Telstra, the equivalent of your telcom ?( Or whatever the company is that owns all the lines, sets it up..... )

You pay $140.99 For a 20 GB download total.
That's the biggest ripoff since the emporor's new clothes.

With the smaller, better companies, you pay $70 for 20GB of downloads....1500 Speed also. HALF THE PRICE.

That's what I pay.

For 512 you pay $50 for 20gb.

(All prices are in AUD)

Listern kaeotix - like seriously - do you play on SAIX servers, cos we are limited by telkom to only be able to play on SAIX servers - which sucks - beeg time. You can probably play on servers in the USA, we cannot.

Which also means that we'll probably never be able to do a clannie against an overseas clan [unless we fly over], which also sucks, but - there are about 7 clans here in SA so far, so we'll have enough fun.

All the SAIX servers start with : "-= SGS".
Use that to search for them, and tell us what kind of lag you're getting [TAB button while playing - last column].

Gentlemen as at exactly now (whenever that is according to the bank) $70 AUD = R314.30 *SOB... WEEP..GNASH TEETH* I am going for swimming lessons. Or maybe I can get a really long extension cable. Or ramp the power on the wireless connection. PLEASE *goes down on knees* there must be SOMETHING we can do.

If you've finsihed school, just miagrate here...

Australia, I must say, is one of the best places in the world to live.
Top living conditions, and really a low crime rate.
Great products.

And we're close enough to USA to play on USA servers and everything.

Australia has one of the highest tax levels in the world though....

If you want to stay in SA, I'm sure soon 1500 will come, just like it did here.
And once you have it.....REJOICE !

Amazingly, we've moved on from 1500......
We know had 24000.

Yup....24000.

kaeotix, why don't you use iinet?
http://www.iinet.com.au/broadband/

A mate of mine's just moved to Brisbane, $80 10/10 peek/offpeek cap 12Mbps (DSLAM will be upgrade first week of Jan), and it includes the line rental and free call minutes.

Sorry, I'm wrong. I just checked the site, not 12Mbps. The just got a free upgrade to 24 MBPS !!!! B@stard!!!!!

If you struggle with the SGS servers, we can meet up on neutral territory, Canadian pings aren't too bad and their players suck ;)

Gee and Telskum gets all excited and advertises on TV for a 1 (ONE!!!) Mbps line. Clever though advertise it as 1024kbps and fool Joe Public.

I feeling sick now...

I have indeed heard of this UBER fast broadband.
I have lookde at it myself a few times, although it's just not available in my area.
It's really only for the INNER city.

Internode ( my company) has this too.

Well, I haven't actually been on, due to my comp gettign a quick fix-up, so I'm not sure how I'll handle the SGS servers.

If not, we'll simply be able to play on a different mutual server.
Or just one without ping kick ON !:D

Look forward to seeeing you around, I hope I get into your clan !
