Travian at Work .... who'se being naughty?

I keep seeing all these silly travian messages on the warroom at all times of day and whatnot.

I just wanna know:

a) how many of you play it while youre at work (as i understand its a browser based game only)

3) how much bandwidth does it chow?

v) how much time, on average, per day do you play it?

Insofar as bandwidth goes, I used 27% of my 3Gig cap, and I spend a lot of time at home logged on to Travian. And I mean a lot!

Of the 27%, I would guess no more than a 1/4 went to other stuff. So it uses very, very little bandwidth.

I spent two weeks playing travian on my phone and logging onto the wargeeks site and checking the news and weather a couple of times. Total usage for the two weeks was 80MB. I would say travian was less than half of that. I suspect signatures on the WRG site was the single biggest user before I disabled that. One can also install a graphics pack for travian so that it access pictures locally, instead of via the net to reduce bandwidth even more. (I have not bothered.)

I would say you need at least 6 sessions of 5 minutes each spread over the day, including work and home. You can get away with less, but then you may lag behind.

I do at work, it only takes a few secs to click on what upgrade I want done. :D

As gus said, you can get a pic pack from the sit to ease the bandwith :D

I usually check my village frequently during the day on my phone.

I check on my phone when power is off and not close to internet like at a party.
When at work I quickly do some upgrades while the boss is not looking :sneaky:

Travian is far from being naughty at work.
