How I met your mother

This is offically one of my favourite sitcoms of all time. It is incredibly well written, and very fresh, it's something i can watch over and over again.

The abridged version? Ted Mosby tells his kids the story about how he met their mother. It's onto the third season now and still no mom in sight, but i hope he NEVER gets to that part, because i'm enjoying his escapes too much.
He also has very interesting and very funny friends, and soon you'll learn to love them.

Now to those of you who have seen it, how badly did you get goosebump with the World of Warcraft episode, and then subesequently laughed your ASS of at the WoW introduction online?

Man, this is really one of the best shows ever, i think it's safe to say it's the new Friends

I am busy with season 3 and must agree with you blinkster, it's a well written script and doesn't get boring.

Although my all time favourite was Californication with David Duchovny.

Well, i remember stool said he deleted it because the pilot episode was crap, but i must agree with Stool, the pilot episode was a bit lame. But by the third episode you're HOOKED!
I mean, i got TG hooked on it, and now he's got XEye hooked on it, man, it's really just a fantastic show, they are innovaters, they come up with new ways to make it brilliant so it stays ahead of the curve.

But the actors were so brilliantly chosen, they gel so well, it's like it's real life friends that decided to make a show.

i give it 9 stars and implore you ALL to get it and watch it!

I must say, the continuity throughout the three seasons so far is awesome. They have a way of flashing back and flashing forward and then revisiting the same thing episodes later that just makes it flippen brilliant.

Funniest for me was in the very first episode just after his first date with Robyn and they are asking him why he didn't kiss her. And he says she didn't give him a sign.

Barney says you don't need a signal, you just kiss her and then he leans over and kisses Marshall. And Mashall is all apologetic to Willow, saying that he didn't give Barney the signal.

I got a few S1 epps from Greg/Bambi a while back... It's my fave TV show... I honestly havent laughed as hard as I did during S1... Now I've got a few S2 epps... and I REALLY want to get more.
Fave Char: Barney/Swarley - because he's so damn awesome. And because of his bro. The epp with his dad is also pretty funny, but quite emotional ;)
2nd fave: Ranjit, because he's indian and a legend :D

It's difficult for me to pinpoint a best episode, but i remember i laughed the hardest at Season 2 Epsiode 16 where Barney put on his play and Marshall got up and gave him something. Swarley was brilliant, laughed the hardest when they played the themesong at the end. Or the one where they all chatted about their first time and Barney kept on quoting movies - especially dirty dancing.

It's a great, great, great, great show.

Ag no man, she's not bad, she's not singing, and she's wacky, so i have no complaints.
Somehow, Britney Spears is such a non issue in my life, i think doing HIMYM is the first notably worth thing she's done in the entertainment industry. Think about it.

It didn't bother me at all seeing Britney... it was more like... "oh look, is that Britney? Awww, sweet, yes it is.... cool...." and then carrying on watching. I was more interested in watching was going to happen between doctor and patient.

We all know what happened to [-]Swarl[/-] Barney when his heart got broken, but we know nothing about what he now does for a living. It must pay well to have such a nicely furnished apartment and being able to afford suits, etc. Hope we find out soon.... and what the girl with the yellow umbrella looks like.

It's amusing in season 4, as the actresses who play Lily and Robyn are both pregnant, and the means that the directors use to hide that fact :) Although in one episode they expose "Lily's" very pregnant belly. :D
