No. This is not the movie about the two irish brothers doing vigilante killings through town.

This is probably one of -if not the most- funniest animated shows on TV.

It's about a black family (Grandpa Robert Freeman and his two grand-kids Huey and Riley)

http://inversehiphop.files.wordpress.com/2007/11/1279the-boondocks-posters.jpg

It's so racist, you will be laughing your butt off non stop. The humour is top notch gangsta from Riley's side, mixed with intellectual sceptisism from Huey (who also fights better than most ninjas)

They pull the proverbial piss out of every stereotype of blacks all over. The best part is the blackest of black men in the show, Uncle Ruckus, who hates everything black and always makes reference to the glorious white man.

The show regularly features artists like 50cent, usher, etc. to do voice overs ... and one of the regular voice artists is Samuel L. Jackson ... who, wait for it, does the voice for a WHITE guy who acts all gangsta.

On the flip side, they also have a self made black man who defeated the struggle by becoming a successful lawyer (with a mortal fear of going to prison and being anally raped -blinky will love this guy :psycho:)

Seriously ... get this any way you can. It's THAT funny.

Here are some quotes:

Ronald Reagan: White Heaven is for decent, good, God-fearing Christians who just happen to, well, hate everyone and everything relating to black people. That means no Muhammad Ali, no hip-hop music and no f***ing Jesse Jackson.

Uncle Ruckus: What about Whoopi Goldberg?

Ronald Reagan: Nope.

Uncle Ruckus: Ohhh! This *is* Heaven!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Uncle Ruckus: God bless you, Robert. How are you this fine morning?

Robert 'Granddad' Freeman: You're not a Jehavoh's Witness now, are you? 'Cause I'm in the Jehovah's Witness Protection Program.

Uncle Ruckus: Hahahahaha. Robert, I'm dying. That's right. Went to the doctor this morning. I only got six months to live. Tumor on the back. They call it Biggus Backus Tumoritis or some other big word that my tiny Negro brain and big lips can't pronounce.

In one of S2's eps the black lawyer gets posessed by the evil spirit of a black dude. Robert, then, seeks the help of a local exorcist: "Reverend Father" Uncle Ruckus. He enters with a bag full of things that a black man is supposed to fear (a whip, a noose, a nightstick, a branding iron, and a job application). <--- i nearly died of laughter when i saw this part ...

hope you guys enjoy!

Ok, how do we go about extracting a copy of S1 and S2 off you guys? We should share what we can. It's such a pain downloading stuff when it's around already.

I have quite a few series, and movies, and I don't mind "sharing".

This is originally Alby's idea.....

Maybe we can all pool together, and get a couple of external HDDs, and just pass them around....

One of the Geeks working for a delivery company (Hint! Hint!) could possibly slip this in every once in a while, and ship them around the country, so we all get stuffs.

I'm willing to organise drives etc if there are enough of us that are keen.

If there is interest in this, we can start a thread to get this formalised.

Wad da ya all tink?

You might get -rep from the same dude who -rep'd Stool for his "anti privacy" post.

I dropped off some series with Rainy @ the airport the other day. He has season 1 of "The Witcher" as well as "Flight of the conchords" ... i HIGHLY recommend you guys get the latter from him.

I do my rounds to PE as well now and then where I normally bring Onyx & Titan some stuff to watch. - So I'm more than happy to share whatever whenever...

I really like this idea, why don't we get started on it. It won't be that difficult to manage. :mindblowing:

I watched the first episode and it didn't grab. something about white people liking cheese, and then huey pulls a move and nearly shoots the bank manager. Maybe i should give it another chance.

Sorry, no matter how hard you try, you'll always be offending someone sometime, if not all the time....

What's the big deal about the rep thing anyway.... Just, as a complete thread derailer :D

@ Carion.

If there are people moving between the cities all the time, then maybe we don't even have to rely on it being shipped, and we just wait for the next lot of bodies to move around, and shift the HDD along with them.

I was thinking a good quality external chassis - metal, and a 500Gb HDD should do us for a start. Price should come in somewhere between R 1,000 and R 2,000, more towards the R 1,000 mark.

All we need to do is propagate between the cities, and then people within the same city should have less of a problem sharing between themselves.

Ok, so i gave the boondocks another go, and MAN what a laugh fest! Especially with all uncle Ruckus - No relation (see, when i watched that first episode, i didn't get up to the point where they meet uncle ruckus, now i'm almost done with season one) That guy makes the show, it really is flippen hilarious.

Sam Jackson is also classic with his speech DIRECTLY from pulp fiction, but those white gangsta are flippen ridiculously funny. I'm so glad i gave this a second chance, it's great!
