Need help!

Hi guys i got this dam problem with BF2 when i try join servers it goes to windows mode(kicks me)and then does'nt return to the game(server i was trying to join).Donno what to do tryed a fresh reinstall 3 or 4 times,copy my BF2/document saved it and when i reinstalled pasted it back on the fresh installation and still did'nt work!

If u guys have had this problem before then can u plz post ur replys.

Bleugh... that sucks.

I know somebody [sss methinks] had problems when restoring his BF2/document stuff and eventually selectively edited the files instead of copying them over.

Does it work if you don't copy your BF2/document stuff ?

make sure that the only folders you back up are your profile & screenshots.
Trash the rest.

If you've just re-installed, try delete those folders in your mydocuments that are NOT your profile or screenshots folders, then attempt to join a game.

I had a similar problem. I did an uninstall and deleted my profiles/settings etc as well.

Did a fresh install. Then patched with a full 1.21 and then an incremental 1.22. So far it hasnt kicked me yet...

When you login, do a Recover Profile and then it recreates your profile for you.

If you keep your profile folder, then you don't have to re-setup your key settings and video etc etc. ;)
