As the abovementioned title indicates, I have pre-ordered COD5, which shall be arriving on my doorstep on Friday.
Now according to the good lads at activision, this game has COOP multiplayer to do the missions.
Is anyone interested in joining me at all? I'd be happy to arrange scheduled times to play so we do all the stages together.

The only WW2 game I have ever bought was BF1942. And that got modded to play desert combat pretty quickly ....
The only CoD I've ever played was modern combat ...

You missed out. Call of Duty 1 (and especially 2) were really good games!

I _really_ enjoyed the flipping-between-armies in COD2 with USA/Brits/Ruslans.
It was almost like a mixture of Band-of-brothers, then that british movie with the greens landing via gliders whose name escapes me now and Enemy at the gates.
It also had a Captain Price in it :D

Have any of you guys tried COD5 on Veteran difficulty??
I am hearing that it's a bit easier than COD4....I really hope so.
COD4 Veteran was good......until the stoopid War Room Level and of course Mile High....They were just silly difficult.

Endless respawning enemies who can kill you with one well directed shot from across the room while running and diving for cover...!
