Erm...I rather think this was more like a very long episode of a series.

It was about vampires. Basically a bit of a love story between a human girl and a vampire boy develops. I think it was more aimed at teens, because the school kids raved about it, but I thought it was very weak. But it's got them reading - which is great. Apparently there is a whole series of books - which lead me to think this is just the first of a sequel of movies.

It was rather weak, like I said. Like a 90-odd minute Buffy episode - but with less focus on fighting and more focus on the emotional issues of falling in love with a vampire.

Edit: now that my brain seems to waking up...I realise I spelt Twilight incorrectly. It looked wrong, but I couldn't put my finger on it. Too much holiday.

The second movie is called 'The Twilight Saga: Moonlight'. It's filming at the moment.

I thought it was pretty lame too.
Plot full of holes and leads.
Full of pretty boys, thought at one stage they were going to break out into a backstreet sing and dance number.

Boom Boom- Voicy:D Though I dont think the pun works if you have to sell it like this :p

Ps: Most Vampire movies tend to suck in all levels that are possible. I think it is a case of :deadhorse: Esp when they get all touchy feely and lost in teenage angst like so many potentially good Sci-fi seems to get these days.

If I wanted touchy-feely I would have gone to a GIRLY movie.

True blood is pretty cool.
Season 2 is starting in June. If you like Vampire stories than i would recommend it.

I keep falling asleep trying to watch this one. Wooden acting, wooden script, wooden dialogues, not an inch of believability. All the twists are just too convenient. Storywise and emotionally this is as deep as a puddle. I really fail to see what gets people going about this crap.

You know that Episode of HIMYM?? The one where Barney offers a fist punch for a wisecrack he thinks is awesome but nobody else wants to fist punch back? (why does that sound so porno?)

So he vows not to drop his arm/fist until he "gets the respect I deserve, nay demand"

Alby is right the baseball scene rocked.
They get less lame after the first one. All the lovey dovey stuff starts to fade.
The stupid chick who acts in it is useless and looks constantly stunned, be prepared for her to be more annoying in the second one.
Yes I have read all 4 books in the series and yes thats probably more reading than most of you will do in your lives.
