I didnt really like any of the thief games.
It sucks when you cant run in and shoot stuff but have to be all quiet and covert like instead.

Dont know about this, if taking the example of how Deus Ex 2 failed when compared to the original... lets see what happens.

Rus, Thief 3 was made by the same team that made Deus Ex 2. Which shouldn't say much for the game but it does. They really did a good job on it, while trying to make it appeal to a broader audience. If they only do half the things right that they did in Thief 3, it will be a good game.
