My most vivid nightmare from my childhood was because of V...

I kept on having a nightmare about that episode where they were climbing in the air vent tunnels...and they looked into a room where the "aliens" pulled off their faces and ate mice.

I had to record it though, as it was aired quite late at night and I was more than happy to watch it the next day in the daylight. :D

I got the pilot episode last night.

Fell asleep before the end though, so I'll have to watch it again. Right now I am somewhere between intrigued and put off.

Intrigued because I want to see how they translate the 25 year old story into a new setting. If they will create a reincarnation or just a blatant rehash.

Put off, because they just couldn't resist putting some modern cliches in.

As soon as they started going on about a terrorist cell, I started yawning.

Cast is alright, but will have to show it can shine.

I remember the original, which was extremely good for its time. If I had to watch it again today I'd laugh. I used to watch it every time it was on.

This looks like it could be good - the female talent is Mmmmmmm - but that aside I am sure they'll have some awesome special FX in store for us.

I am disappointed by the SFX so far. Very run-of-the-mill, almost a bit cheesy at times.

I also watched the pilot. I enjoyed it tremendously...

I see it has the same guy who played in Spielberg's 'taken' as well as the 4400.

The lady plays the maternity doc on Lost and there are a few other familiar faces such as one of the final 5 cylons from BSG, but I like the fact that none of them are A grade celebs.

I dig these kind of shows.
