Right so I was just wondering, is it just Stinky and me that like the Dave Matthews Band?
I have been a madkeen fan since their first album pretty much and have every single studio realease since then.
Their new album Big whiskey and the groogrux king has just come out and its awesome too.
Anyone who has any musical ability should be appreciate them as they are undoubtedly the most mucally talented commercial band out there.
edit: if you have not musical ability then it probably wont appeal to you... *points at slappy*

Slappy, listen to "Crash into me". Probably their most famous song and proof of straightness, unless they're faking it.

That song is a metaphor for man love.
Take every second word to the chorus and you will see EXACTLY what I mean.

I joke I joke... DMB is highly talented, but does not appeal to non-musical trolls like myself.

Yeah, melikes 'em, but couldn't call myself a fanbooi, off the top of my head I can only think of a few songs, Satellite, Ants Marching and So Much to say..
None of the other songs jump out and ring any bells.. :D

Their only song that I enjoy is "The space between", which is unfortunately also a "commercial" song.
I won't rip them off for listening to DMB, because as RB said - it's for those who can appreciate the skill that goes into playing that music. Having watched a concert of theirs on tv, I can understand why.
I don't have a foot to stand on, since my fav. band for the last 13 years has been The Eels.

The homogheiness here is making me claustrophobic.
I am cruising to the man thread to clense my soul.

Haha, but Rammstein is like angry, manly homo! DMB is touchy, feely lovey dovey homo... :p
j/k
They've got some cool songs, my fav is still the first ever song of theirs that I heard, "Don't drink the water"... and I really dig the fact that a SA dude could make it so big internationally. So I guess you could call me a fan...
But they most definitely do not turn me a screaming fangirl like, for instance, Iron Maiden or Metallica or the Nude Girls does...sigh :p

Yeah im not a screaming fangirl.
I like pretty much all of their songs though. I still rate that as being one concert that I would really like to see though.
