Penny Arcade's tyco said this about it: As an unmitigated, morally compromised power fantasy, [Prototype] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prototype_(video_game)) is startlingly robust. (one of the kewlest sentences of the 21st century so far!)
Anybody knows anything about this?

I'll keep this short till I actually finish this game.
So far I have given it 5 odd hours.
I don't know what people were talking about drawing distance problems on the console, yes it does not carry on forever but there is more than enough to satisfy, there after you get "shadows" of buildings further on.
So far
Likes:
The Web of Intrigue, the games story is not told through it's main cut scenes but rather through specially marked people that are linked someway. you absorb these folk and get a bit more of the story revealed to you and you get links to new people to find.
Freedom, yeah from the start you can go anywhere you like in the game, no need to wait for parts to be unlocked or anything like that. Just run out to your hearts content.
Choice of destruction, as you progress you gets tons of upgrades to add to your arsenal of death. you start off with just fists and kicks but soon get all sorts of claws, whips, hammers etc... The fighting has some degree of paper/rock/scissors but that's only the bigger guys you fight but you don't have to use a certain type to kill, some just do the job faster, small enemies can be crushed under any tool of your choice (thrown cars/ tanks etc included).
Dislikes:
Stupid side missions, Yes some side missions do tie in to the story, but when you surrounded by police, military and infected why the hell would you want to see how fast you can get through a bunch of markers. Fortunately these missions are totally optional and skip'able.
Voice acting and some cut scenes, Some of the voice acting in this game is horrid, your sister in specific, it sounds like she is bored out of her tree and one step away from going all emo. Along with that some of the "main" cut scenes are poorly done, it's strange as I said earlier the web of intrigue scenes are really good.
Difficulty spikes, Not something I have had much issues with yet, but when the game throws a new enemy at you and you kill it, the devs though it fun to throw in another 8 or more to see how you handle, running for your life can be really uncool in the times...
Once I have finished it I will try add more onto this for ya all
Play time for me was round 8.5 Hours. It's pretty much an 8/10 hour game.
Nope buildings can/t be destroyed as wake said (there is texture damage when you run up walls or crash into them missile damage etc..), although all the smaller things can be picked up and thrown.
Would I recommend this game to others, I would yes. It's got an interesting story good character design (albeit a little limited on the bad guy side). The controls are easy enough to adapt to if not a little loose.
Overall a nice tight little package.
I would give it a 7/10 if I gave games ratings...
That's it...
