Okay..I hope this is an announcement or classed as one.;)

I'm part of a band called Qamata (http://www.facebook.com/pages/Qamata/47104333749?ref=ts) and we are playing at RED DOOR in Maritzburg on the 18th of July. I'm inviting all those that can make this event. We are doing a tribute to a band (http://www.lamb-of-god.com) and we'll prollie play 2-3 songs of our own. There will be two more bands playing that night, Arise to Conquer wil do sepultura (www.sepultura.com) and a mix group from four diffirent bands that came together and did a tribute to as I lay dying (www.asilaydying.com/)
This is for those that enjoy a bit of heavy music.:violin: It might be a bit too heavy for some, but the talent is abundant and the people are aqually very pleasant off stage too. :)
Stoke!! You still keen boet?
I'll get back and update as soon as I know the times and such...

:violin: I play the face :p

Nah...i'm on vocals..I leave the instuments for the [-]jobless[/-] clever people :D
My friends/bandmembers all left their jobs (Network teccie / Graphic designer / Wild coast sun accounting something) to persue this dream. I'm not that brave myself yet!!! :|

The guys in Qamata is rather talented. Our Guitar player is actually a drummer for another local band and the drummer is the guitarist for that same band. Oh...and the bass player also hails from that band called Hatespeech. I'll upload sum tunes when we have recorded properly. For now, click the facebook linky on the firts post on the Qamata. On facebook you can then follow a link to garage.com where you'll find our very first recording. We had some good and bad reviews, but constructive critisism also helps to mould the band. :)

PS. Sorry I can't link it on this post. Work blocks Facebrick for us. :p

You want us to go to facebook.com to retrieve a link to garage.com?
And you say that you cannot get the link yourself because facebook is blocked at work.

How roundabout is that?
I mean ... you could ... perhaps ... maybe ... just goto garage.com direct and get the link?

Methinks the Eskom is affecting him! RUN FORTIE .. RUUUUN!
