So who's read this one? I've started reading it over the weekend, and it is thrilling! Not done yet, but I will be soon. Think viruses that wipe out people in days and spread like wild fire....

Shamus, are you talking about Frank Herbert's 'White Plague"? I have it in German but haven't been able to rustle up an English copy yet.

That's the one. Absolutely brilliant. I read it in like 19*5 and it still holds relevant.
