I don't get CoD mania. It's fun but shallow and tires easily. BF:BC is a much better game.

It looks really good. The COD WaW was a complete flop, i think it was built by differenct developers. Hopefully they recified that this time?

This is being made by the same people that made COD4. Infinity Ward, if I am not mistaken. Treyarch are always doing the bang-up jobs on the WW2 games.

I saw a game play vid last night where a dude threw a knife over a building to kill the last opponent. But there was no way he could have seen him there. It seems that it's already been hacked to pieces and not even released here yet.

Either way the SP was very good on the game even better than COD4. I wouldnt bother buying it for MP

I haven't had much chance to play this yet, but from what I have played so far it is jawdroppingly beautiful! Picture running through the streets with the rain pouring down, and you can see it flowing down the walls. Flickering flashes from the gunfire reflect off puddles of water, then lightning flashes, starkly outlining the soldiers around you, and throwing their shadows in stark relief on the walls..

It's also good fun - you travel all around the world, several places in Russia, including the Gulag, US - Washington DC around the capital buildings and suburban areas, Rio, an oilrig, and hopefully even more to come.

One day I'll give the MP a go and tell you if it's as bad as everyone says.. But first the campaign..

I've just finished it - That was intense - there was lots that just FLEW by me - I need to play it again!

Once you're finished the Single Player campaign it unlocks a Spec Opps mode where you can play ?all? the different parts as a challenge - time & level for star awards.. Sounds gimicky, but I'll probably visit at least SOME of the missions again a few times.

The problem with spec ops is that you need a friend playing co-op for the fun stuff like the AC-130.
The single player was quite fun though.

The SP campaign in Modern Warfare 1 was awesome.

The SP campaign in Modern Warfare 2 is a piece of crap. Confusing, demotivating and random.

Upside is, it runs like a dream on my current system. Then didn't change much in the engine from MW1.
