Anybody have good tips on farming faction?

Pios mentioned running supplies. I do not have a runner character, so I find that slow going. Anybody have tips on how to do that quickly without a warrior?

A way that I found to farm faction with my Ele, in the Kurzick area, is the Duel quest one gets just north of Brauer Academy. I take a full party of hench as meat shields. I then go stand right in between the group of duelests and when the fight is nearly starting (from the dialog), I cast fire attunement and aura of restoration. Then when the fight starts, I use Inferno, flame burst and star burst (new elite) and flame burst again as soon as it recharges, which if all goes well kills of most of the enemies. My main problem is staying alive for the first 20 seconds. If I do survive, then the whole trip from the town to back in the town nets 400 faction in about three minutes. If I get killed and have to go back from the shrine, it takes longer unfortunately. I am still working on better ways to stay alive.

Anybody please have other good tips?

if u have become closer to the stars and have the gold to spare, u might consider changing ur secondary to warrior. I did that yesterday with my monk.

Running supplies does ge6t one faction points really quickly - i got about 8000 in an hour

if this is not an option however...i will keep an open for any other effective ways :D

I do it with my ranger .... easy as pie :) 400 faction per 3 mins, = 8k per hour = 16k gold per hour = rich in days :)

I was surpised at how easy the run and quick the run was. The whole time i was doing it was thinking: "mmmmm, if i can get my warrior here, i might be able to cut my time to 2 min." ;)

I wasnt really interested in faction farming until I read Pios's post about the mullah. Now I need to create a runner char. Any ideas for a nice build Pios? Should I go Warrior or Ranger?

I tried a quick run, but as I already know, ele's suck at running. I can however see that even my monk should be able to do the run without much effort. I guess I either need to progress my monk in the story, or carry on with the booming. At least the booming is some hectic killing fun, lasting about a minute, with plenty fire involved. :D

And I need 70 amber for some 15K armor for my ele, since he is my only characters that still walks around in Drok's. Sigh.

Huh?

I have a ranger and he has a bow. Secondary is Ele. I am fairly confident against scale in and around Lakeside.

I also have an assassin/ritualist at 14th level. But she faints at the sight of blood - esp her own. I think she is at some port.

So where would I find the accelerated training manual?

Note to self - make a plan to play with these people and learn something.

Have a look at these two links for some good tips:

Many people have issues with assassins. If not managed right, I think they die real easy. For example:

Thanks - looks daunting in terms of volume. But I shall try and persevere

Is there any way that I can see what quests I have already completed?

I bought two pieces of 15K Kurzick's armor for my ele. It was 30K cash, but over 100K in materials (mostly amber). 15K armor is really expensive this way. I wonder if they are trying to make it a step closer to FoW armor in price. :( I just want to look nice without having to farm faction all day long.

You have to be to House zu Hetzner or Cavalon. There are quests that give faction. Some of them are repeatable quests, like the supply lines and duel ones. That way you can earn a lot of faction if you are patient. You can then trade the faction for amber or jade at an NPC in these two towns. You can then sell the amber or jade for cash to other players or the rare materials trader.
